Dispatch Episode 8 Walkthrough
The episode opens with the office team preparing to handle the Red Ring crisis. Blond Blazer is gearing up to leave and defend the city. This is where you’ll encounter the first conversation, and you’re free to choose any response you like.
- Go.
- Just come back.
- Stay.
Following the conversation, you’ll need to manage a lengthy dispatch sequence. This involves handling numerous calls, and you won’t initially have access to all team members. During the sequence, you’ll also face a battle against a character who appeared in Episode 3. This fight will be challenging, so it’s crucial to answer every call without fail. Missing calls will lower the bar at the top left of the screen, which represents the city’s condition.
There is a trophy/achievement here that you can acquire if the bar doesn’t go very low.

When the power fails, Robert will go to check on Chase. He’ll then find Royd battling Invisigal in the Lab. This is where you’ll be presented with some dialogue choices.
- Option #1: (Can go for any choice)
- Stop kicking him!
- What is going on?
- Let go of her!
- Option #2: (Can go for any choice)
- Call Blonde Blazer.
- We need the Z-Team.
- Fire up my suit.
Once Royd exits, Robert will speak with Invisigal, and then you’ll be presented with a new set of options where you can select any one you like.
- Why didn’t you tell me?
- You heard Royd.
- I can’t trust you.
As the Red Ring members get closer, Invisigal will ask you to free her. If you choose to untie her first, she’ll leave after you win the fight. But if you choose to help her instead, she’ll fight alongside you. Keep in mind that either choice can change how the game ends.
- [Go It Alone]
- [Untie Her]
If you free her, a new conversation option will appear, and you can choose any response you like.
- No way.
- You do it.
- Yeah, alright.
Once you’ve obtained the Mecha Man suit and stepped into the courtyard, you’ll encounter the Red Ring. You can then speak with Toxic, and your choice in the following conversation won’t affect the story.
- Come and claim it.
- I shoulda dropped you.
- Where’s Shroud?
When the Mecha Spider appears, you’ll need to battle it, and then you’ll be prompted to complete a series of Quick Time Events. While your choices during these events will change the way the cutscenes play out, they won’t affect the overall story.
- Option #1: (Can go for any choice)
- Can we skip this part?
- Predict me beating your a**
- Hard to do when you’re dead
- Option #2:(Can go for any choice)
- [TWIN ENERGY BLADES]
- [MISSILE FLURRY]
- Option #3: (Can go for any choice)
- [CLUSTER BOMBS]
- [PLASMA NET]
Next, you’ll face either Coupe or Sonar, based on which team member you previously dismissed. During this encounter, you’ll have a conversation choice that the game will remember for later.
- It wasn’t personal.
- Looks like I was right.
- I’m sorry.
You will now get another action choice, and you can go with any option:
- [GET OVER HERE]
- [SUPER SPIRIT BOMB]
Once Shroud gets out of the Mech and reaches Beef, a conversation will start, and you’ll be able to choose any response you like.
- Please don’t do this.
- Hurt him and you die.
- I’ll do whatever you want.
After Robert reaches the roof, Shroud will ask you to give him the Astral Pulse. Your choices here are remembered, and ultimately lead to the same result. However, choosing the second option significantly alters the accompanying cutscene.
- [GIVE HIM THE ASTRAL PULSE]
- [GIVE HIM BOTH]
- [GIVE HIM THE PROTOTYPE]
Once you defeat Shroud, you’ll be presented with two options. Feel free to choose the one that best fits your vision for Robert’s character.
- [KILL HIM]
- [SPARE HIM]
After the battle ends, if you have a romantic relationship with Invisigal, you’ll be able to talk to her. Any dialogue option you choose will work.
- Thanks, I guess?
- Want me to wait with you?
- You did it.
You will now have a conversation with Royd and can choose any choice:
- You’re amazing.
- Couldn’t do it without you.
- You should be a hero.
While the party is happening, the police will attempt to arrest Coupe or Sonar, but you’ll have a chance to intervene with a dialogue choice. Your decision here matters! Choosing the first option will allow Coupe/Sonar to rejoin the festivities, letting them off the hook. However, if you choose the second option, they’ll be taken away with the other criminals.
- [FORGIVE]
- [FORGET]
For the last dialogue choice, you can go for any option:
- They deserve to celebrate.
- We’re just getting started.
- I had plenty of help
That wraps up the last episode of Dispatch, but you can play through it again to make different choices and unlock the alternate ending. There are also trophies and achievements tied to both the romantic relationships and the various endings.
