According to a recent statement by Andrew Goldfarb, Senior Communications Manager at Sucker Punch (as reported by The Gamer), the upcoming game Ghost of Yotei is set for release in 2025. Goldfarb is actively seeking an experienced professional with community and support specializations to aid in the launch of the game this year.
As a fervent admirer, I’m thrilled to share that the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, aptly titled Ghost of Yotei, was unveiled during PlayStation’s State of Play event last year. Sucker Punch didn’t disappoint, showcasing a captivating trailer that offered a sneak peek into the upcoming journey nestled in the picturesque landscapes surrounding Mount Yotei. Intriguingly, towards the end of this enthralling trailer, they revealed that Ghost of Yotei is slated for release in 2025. I can hardly wait!
What is Ghost of Yotei About?
In a fresh, 300-years-later scenario following Ghost of Tsushima’s events, the lead character is a new warrior named Atsu. Driven by vengeance for her family’s demise, she embarks on an adventure to confront those responsible. Alongside the novel setting, developers have also crafted innovative mechanics and gameplay enhancements. Unlike Jin Sakai, Atsu will be equipped with a variety of weapons such as ōdachi, kusarigama, and dual katanas.
