With over two decades since the last official Quidditch video game, it’s like stepping into a time-turner back to Hogwarts.
In the game titled “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions“, there will be exclusive perks for those who already own a version of “Hogwarts Legacy“. Since the launch of the last official Quidditch video game, “Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup“, more than two decades ago, “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” aims to reintroduce this enchanting sport this autumn.
The game titled “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” is slated to launch on September 3, and it’s compatible with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The Standard Edition will retail for $29.99. Unfortunately, there’s no exact release date for the Switch version, but rest assured that one is in development, so Nintendo fans need to be patient a bit longer.
On August 22, a trailer for the game was unveiled, demonstrating its thrilling aerial gameplay and outlining the four diverse roles players can assume during a match. Towards the end of this trailer, five unique Bonus Legacy Pack rewards were showcased. These exclusive rewards are only accessible to players who possess Hogwarts Legacy and have linked it to their WB Games accounts. The majority of these rewards are related to the 2023 action RPG, including a skin for Hogwarts Legacy‘s Slytherin companion Sebastian Sallow, his wand, and symbols commemorating that game’s Ancient Magic powers. The last reward, the Moontrimmer Broom Skin, metamorphoses the player’s broom into the masterpiece of renowned fictional broom maker Gladys Boothby, as introduced in the 2001 book Quidditch Through the Ages.
