While extra skills and attacks are valuable, it’s equally crucial to boost your base stats to withstand the various obstacles you may encounter throughout the game.
In the game, enhancing your character through skill trees is a simple method to boost strength, but you can also discover and utilize Mind Cores to raise your base stats. Plus, these Mind Cores can be respeced whenever desired, offering extra flexibility to experiment with various builds until you find the ideal one.
How To Find & Use Mind Cores
Rare artifacts known as Mind Cores provide powerful enhancements, making them scarcely available. Primarily, you can obtain these elusive Mind Cores through two means: defeating formidable bosses or acquiring them from Shrine Stores. Shrine Stores stock varies with each chapter, and the items differ from one chapter to another. Not every boss yields Mind Cores, but typically, significant bosses from each Chapter do. Additionally, these artifacts may be discovered in scattered chests across the world, and their frequency increases significantly through this method as you progress further in the storyline.
After you’ve accumulated some Mind Cores, look for Xu Dog who specializes in creating medicines. You can identify him by his icon near the Shrine he is closest to within that specific chapter. For instance, in Chapter 2, it would be the Cellar. Approach him and pick the option “Craft Medicines“, followed by choosing “Celestial Medicines“. These medicines can be bought using Mind Cores, which will enhance the stats displayed on the right side of your screen.
How To Respec Mind Cores
If you find yourself unsatisfied with the way you’ve allocated your Mind Cores, consider selecting the “Remake Celestial Medicines” option with Xu Dog. This will allow him to refund all the Mind Cores you’ve already spent, much like how you can return Sparks. With this refresh, you’ll get back all your Mind Cores and have the freedom to reallocate them as you wish in whatever stats you prefer.
