As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for this year’s Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2024! The lineup looks absolutely stellar, and it seems Sony is pulling out all the stops with their booth featuring Astro Bot and Monster Hunter Wilds.
In their latest blog update, Sony’s PlayStation division shared details about their upcoming activities at the Tokyo Game Show 2024, including a live event for Death Stranding 2, specific booth labels, scheduling information, and other related matters.
At this year’s exhibition, Sony has confirmed that Astro Bot and Monster Hunter Wilds will be showcased. However, it’s important to note that while Astro Bot is set to launch in early September 2024, preceding the Tokyo Game Show itself, Monster Hunter Wilds won’t be available until 2025.
As a gamer, I’m super excited to share that at our booth, there’ll be a colossal, operational Gacha machine, reminiscent of the upcoming Astro Bot game! Plus, we’ve got 40 units of Monster Hunter Wilds up for grabs. Here’s the best part: there’ll be a limited number of cool acrylic keychains for our guests as well!

On September 29, 2024, starting at 10:30, PlayStation is set to present a special stage for Death Stranding 2. This event will be led by director Hideo Kojima and Daichi Miura, along with some special guests.
Most recently, Kojima teased a new character coming to Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, possibly involving actor Kenjiro Tsuda.
Sony’s PlayStation brand is set to unveil additional playable games and events destined for Tokyo Game Show 2024 at a future time. The event itself will commence on September 26, 2024, under the banner of “Pioneer the World with Gaming.”
