Wuchang Fallen Feathers just received an update from developer Leenzee! Owners of the Deluxe Expansion 2 can now access its new content, and all players who have the base game will get a free headgear.

As a fan, I’m excited to hear that console players are getting the Wuchang Fallen Feathers update – it’s version 1.000.013, which the developers are calling the 1.7 patch! Can’t wait to check it out.

Today’s update includes a new feature called Rechallenge, which adds more gameplay content.

Deluxe Expansion 2 Content Now Available (Exclusive to Deluxe Edition / Deluxe Upgrade Pack)

If you already own the Deluxe Edition or Deluxe Upgrade Pack, you’ll automatically get the new Deluxe Expansion 2 content, which includes 3 new costumes and 2 new weapons. This means all Deluxe Edition and Upgrade Pack owners now have access to these items. In total, the Deluxe Edition now includes 9 armor sets and 8 weapons.

Hey everyone, just a heads-up for those of us who grabbed the Deluxe Edition or Upgrade Pack! It looks like we need to completely restart Steam and then launch the game again. Once we do that, we can finally claim all the cool rewards waiting for us in the Donation Box at the Reverent Temple. I just did it and it worked great!

We’ve added a new Rechallenge feature! If you defeat in a boss fight, you can now choose to immediately retry, and you’ll start again at the entrance to the boss arena.

If you’re having trouble accessing the new content in this update, it might be because you reverted to an older version of the game, or because you have mods installed. Here are some solutions, depending on your situation.

Okay, so if you ever had to roll back to an older version of the game, here’s what I do to get the extra content working again. First, I completely clear out the ‘ContentPaks’ folder – it’s located in SteamsteamappscommonWuchang Fallen FeathersProject_Plague. Then, I head over to Steam, right-click on WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, go to ‘Properties’, then ‘Installed Files’, and hit ‘Verify the integrity of game files’. Once that’s done, I restart the game and try to claim the content again. Seems to fix it every time!

If you’ve installed mods before, they might cause problems when trying to get the new content. We suggest removing all your mods first. Then, in Steam, right-click on WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, go to ‘Properties’, then ‘Installed Files’, and select ‘Verify the integrity of game files’ to fix any corrupted files. After that, restart the game and try to claim the additional content again.
