Assassin’s Creed Mirage has now been played by 10 million people, boosted by the recent release of its Valley of Memory expansion.
This week saw the release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s update 1.1.0, which included the free Valley of Memory downloadable content, along with several gameplay enhancements and bug fixes. Ubisoft recently reported that this new content helped AC Mirage achieve record player numbers.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage Reached 10 Million Players Thanks to New DLC
Ubisoft recently announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage has been played by 10 million people, as detailed in their latest financial report. They also shared that the new Valley of Memory downloadable content has received great initial reviews, leading to a surge in players and helping the game reach a new level of popularity. It’s important to remember that this 10 million player count is different from the number of game copies sold.
The Assassin’s Creed series had a very successful second quarter. Both the new game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and older titles performed better than expected. So far this year, players have spent a total of 211 million days playing Assassin’s Creed games, which is about 35% more than the average for the same period in the past two years.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows saw a boost in players after the release of New Game+ and the Claws of Awaji expansion, bringing people back to the game. Looking ahead, the game aims to reach even more players with its upcoming release on the Switch 2 next month.
TopMob’s latest report indicates that the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake is scheduled to release before March 31, 2026. In other updates, Ubisoft remains independent, and a financial issue caused a delay in their earnings report.
