As usual, 2025 brought a lot of exciting new anime aimed at young male audiences. These shows were incredibly engaging, leaving viewers eager for the next episode. Now that the year is coming to a close, fans are debating which shonen anime stood out the most. While several titles are in the running, only one can be named the best shonen anime of the year.

The next Resident Evil game, Requiem, will return to the devastated Raccoon City after the bombing. While we’ve seen images of the ruined police station, the story will focus on a new character named Grace Ashcroft, who is the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft from Resident Evil Outbreak. Grace will be investigating a series of strange deaths at the Wrenwood Hotel – the very place where her mother was killed. It’s likely her investigation will expand beyond the hotel and deeper into Raccoon City, and a recently revealed location has fans buzzing with anticipation.
