In the latest episode of Re:Zero, Subaru takes a less central role, letting Emilia and Julius lead the way. They face off against Reid Astrea, a strong and somewhat inappropriate examiner for the second trial. Subaru’s team is focused on passing this difficult test set by the Sword Saint, but it won’t be easy.

Subnautica 2 has become incredibly popular on Steam, quickly rising to be one of the most-played games. Despite limited marketing from Krafton, the game reached a peak of 467,582 players shortly after its early access launch yesterday. This is a significant increase over the original Subnautica, which peaked at 51,156 players. Currently, over 201,740 players are enjoying the early access version.

PlayStation Plus generally follows a predictable pattern across its different levels. The Essential tier, which includes the ‘free’ monthly games, usually offers decent but unremarkable titles – they’re unlikely to attract new subscribers. Most PlayStation owners need this tier to play games online (except for free-to-play games like Fortnite), so they’ll have access to these games regardless. The Extra tier steps it up with a couple of strong titles, alongside a variety of games aimed at different interests. Finally, the Premium tier releases a classic PlayStation game every couple of months, and seems to offer the least value for money despite being the most expensive option.

Bungie’s classic 1990s sci-fi shooter trilogy, Marathon, was recently re-released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on March 5th. Despite a growing number of similar ‘extraction shooter’ games, Marathon has quickly gained a dedicated fanbase in its first season. Critics have also been positive, giving the game an average score of 81 out of 100 and a recommendation rate of 73% on OpenCritic. In my review for TopMob, I scored the game a 9/10, highlighting its excellent presentation, character building options, and satisfying progression, though I noted that it has a very challenging learning curve.

Hudson isn’t the only one who worked on the original Knights of the Old Republic now involved with Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic. Several developers from the original KOTOR, like Dan Fessenden, Caroline Livingstone, and Ryan Hoyle, are also working on the new game. This suggests the new game should feel similar to the classic title.
