Sliro Barsha

This is one of the opening lines of the game said by the main villain, Sliro Barsha. He runs a new Faction called Zerek Besh which is why he brought the other four main Factions together in Star Wars Outlaws. It’s all a ruse to get to know each other and to form a truce. Sliro talks about how he came from scraps and no longer wants to live life that way. He is hungry and wants everything for himself and his new order which is when his men start executing the ambassadors from the other Factions ruthlessly. This comes back again toward the end when Sliro and his brother, Jaylen Vrax, argue about their heritage over a food analogy.

7 “Kay! It’s A Good Thing I Turned Those Guns Off.”

Waka

In the game “Star Wars Outlaws”, players encounter Waka, who’s an engineer. He helps fix Kay’s spaceship and joins her for various missions, including False Flag, a crucial mission. As they near an Imperial space station, Waka cautions Kay against any humorous actions like shooting at the Imperials. Inside Kay is double-crossed by Waka but not before he is shot in the back by Vail Tormin, a bounty hunter that Sliro hired to find Kay. When it looks like Kay is cornered, a door opens up behind her, and out comes a large droid named ND-5. All he says to Kay is “Run” which she does in a heartbeat. This idea of saying “Run” to Kay comes back in the final mission of the game when ND-5 sort of takes on a more Terminator role and goes after Kay involuntarily.

4 “I’m Not Into Politics, Or Taking Down Queens, And I Definitely Don’t Like People Spying On Me.”

Kay Vess

1. Kay, who operates outside of traditional laws, adheres to her unique code of conduct and avoids exploiting the weak. However, it’s evident throughout the story that everyone in the galaxy manipulates each other, even the Rebel Alliance. Kay yearns for freedom and to live without oppression. This scene unfolds as Krisk and Lady Qi’Ra conspire against Queen Ashiga, leader of the Ashiga Clan. Kay strongly disagrees with getting entangled in political power struggles. In the end, players must decide whether to save Queen Ashiga or allow Krisk to usurp her position, becoming a pawn of Lady Qi’Ra and Crimson Dawn within the Ashiga Clan.

3 “He Took My Eye, But He Took Everything Else.”

Surat Nuat

Essentially, Surat Nuat holds a significant position as the head honcho in the underworld of Akiva, yet he’s not aligned with any common faction. In their meeting, Kay sees a person frozen in carbonite being used as a table. Upon prying, Surat reveals it is his brother. This line is so vicious that Surat comes across as a truly unhinged criminal and this game is filled with them from oldies like Jabba the Hutt to newbies like Sliro.

Darth Vader

In the game, there are some unexpected appearances by characters, but Darth Vader’s entrance truly stands out. He makes an appearance during the penultimate mission, where Kay observes Sliro conversing with him through a ventilation shaft. Sliro discusses a grand scheme to expose the rebels, yet Darth Vader grows impatient. In a show of dominance, he shatters every glass pane in the room and uses the broken shards to threaten Sliro, warning him to locate the rebels or face the consequences. The scene is both awe-inspiring and intimidating, highlighting Darth Vader’s formidable power. Apart from one more appearance through a hologram, this is the sole instance where Darth Vader physically appears in the game.
