As a gamer, I’ve seen a lot of games like Escape From Tarkov where they regularly wipe the servers. It’s usually to level the playing field between new players and veterans, and to keep things interesting. But ARC Raiders is doing things differently. They’re not forcing wipes. Instead, they have this thing called the Expedition. Basically, if we, as players, want a fresh start, we can donate a ton of resources to build a caravan and leave the Rust Belt. This resets everything – our quests, blueprints, all our gear, the works. It’s totally optional though, which is a cool, more casual approach.

Developed by Elder Game LLC, Project: Gorgon is a fantasy MMORPG focused on exploration and letting players chart their own course. While that description is accurate, it doesn’t fully capture what makes the game unique. Visually, it intentionally evokes the early 2000s, reminiscent of games like Runescape and classic World of Warcraft. The game features a persistent world, meaning all players are in the same shared space – when you enter a dungeon, you might run into others. However, the most significant aspect of Project: Gorgon is its wonderful community. While the game’s technology aims to recreate the feel of older MMOs, it’s the players themselves who truly bring that experience to life.

The recent release of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen on Switch aren’t complete remakes; they largely maintain the original Game Boy Advance experience, both the good and the bad. Don’t anticipate major changes, either positive or negative. This means some of the original games’ quirks and frustrations are still present, like the random chance in mini-games and inconsistent difficulty in trainer battles. In particular, avoid using Golbat on your team – it can be incredibly frustrating to deal with!
