PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members will get five new co-op games to enjoy starting Tuesday, December 16th. This is thanks to a new update rolling out to the PlayStation Plus service that day.
On December 16th, PlayStation Plus subscribers will get eight new games as part of the Extra tier and one game with the Premium tier. The new Extra games are Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Cat Quest 3, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, LEGO Horizon Adventures, Paw Patrol: Grand Prix, Paw Patrol World, Planet Coaster 2, and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Five of these games offer co-op play, making them great options for friends and family to enjoy together during the holidays.
Several new games offer cooperative play, including Cat Quest 3, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, LEGO Horizon Adventures, PAW Patrol World, and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Cat Quest 3 is a playful action-RPG set in a pirate world filled with cats, and it’s designed for full local co-op. While it’s not a lengthy game, it offers enough enjoyable content to make completing everything a satisfying experience.

Both Granblue Fantasy: Relink and LEGO Horizon Adventures are action RPGs with cooperative elements. Granblue Fantasy: Relink offers unlockable co-op missions, while LEGO Horizon Adventures lets you play the entire game with a friend or family member, retelling the story of Horizon Zero Dawn in a way that’s great for all ages.
For family-friendly options, both PAW Patrol World and PAW Patrol: Grand Prix offer cooperative and multiplayer modes. PAW Patrol World is a relaxed, open-world game best suited for younger players or those looking for a game to enjoy with their kids. PAW Patrol: Grand Prix is a racing game based on the popular series. Both games have very easy-to-earn trophies, making them a quick way for trophy collectors to get a Platinum trophy.
On December 16th, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be available for PlayStation Plus members. This challenging action game, similar to the Souls series, lets you call in friends for help. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty received good reviews when it launched and is a welcome addition to the PS Plus library.
There Are Already Great Co-Op Games on PS Plus
PlayStation Plus is getting some new co-op games on December 16th, which is great! But don’t forget there are already a lot of good games available to play with friends. Earlier this year, the service added sci-fi survival game Abiotic Factor and FBC: Firebreak on the day they were released.
PS Plus offers a fantastic selection of co-op games across its Extra and Premium tiers. You can play some of these games locally with friends, while others are online only. The best part is that PS Plus makes them easily available, and even more co-op titles are being added on December 16th!
