I’m totally hooked on the Boruto series right now! The Two Blue Vortex arc has been amazing – the fights are incredible, and the characters are actually getting some really interesting development, which is something a lot of us felt was missing earlier on. Seriously, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is just firing on all cylinders! It’s throwing the next generation of ninja into some seriously epic battles, and we’re watching new legacies unfold and history being made right before our eyes. That’s what makes this part of the story so unbelievably exciting!

Even though the PlayStation 5 doesn’t have a huge number of games available only on that system right now, the games that are available are exceptionally well-made. Sony has released some fantastic adventures for players to enjoy. These range from family-friendly titles like Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart to more demanding and difficult games. Some of these Sony exclusives really push players to their limits, offering tough challenges that might even make them want to give up!

As a huge fan of classic survival horror, the moment I saw Carnival Massacre, it instantly reminded me of playing Silent Hill 3 as Heather Mason. It’s got that same vibe – a creepy amusement park, disturbing characters, and this feeling of dread as you play a teenage girl desperately searching for someone she cares about. It feels both nostalgic and new, like a fresh take on something I already love. It’s a really cool experience for anyone who grew up with those older horror games!

This year saw huge success for popular manga like One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen. Several new series, including The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity, also became top hits. The best-selling manga of 2025 were incredibly popular, selling between 2 and over 4 million copies each.

As a gamer, December was awesome for freebies! Steam was giving away a different free game every week, which was great for building up my library. But Epic Games Store really went all out with their annual holiday giveaway – they basically showered us with free games to celebrate the new year. The last games they were giving away were Total War: Three Kingdoms and Wildgate, and you could snag those until January 8th at 10:00am CST. After that, Bloons TD 6 is taking their place, so I made sure to grab them all!
