Mat Piscatella, a leading video game industry analyst at Circana, recently shared sales figures on BlueSky. According to his data, Battlefield 6 has been the best-selling game since it launched in October, and it’s currently on track to potentially finish the year as number one.
As a huge gaming fan, I’ve been keeping track of the best-selling games this year, and it’s been interesting to see what’s popular! Besides the upcoming Battlefield 6, the top games so far in 2025 are NBA 2K26, Monster Hunter: Wilds, Borderlands 4, and EA Sports College Football 25. We only got one major new release in November – Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 – and it’s already landed at number seven on the charts. These numbers cover sales from January 5th to November 1st, 2025.
