The recent Cold Snap update for ARC Raiders introduced two new instruments – the Guitar and the Shaker. Unlike the Recorder, you can’t purchase these instruments from any of the game’s traders. Instead, players need to complete the difficult Buried City Easter Egg to unlock them.
Unlocking these rewards gives you valuable items that earn a lot of coins and are surprisingly helpful in raids. Players often share instruments as a friendly gesture, but remember to stay cautious in ARC Raiders – you can’t always trust others!
Want to collect the rare instruments hidden in the game? You’ve come to the right place! This guide will walk you through the Buried City Easter Egg, helping you find a secret collection of Legendary Guitars, Shakers, and Recorders.
What is The Buried City Easter Egg Puzzle In ARC Raiders?

In ARC Raiders, players can discover a secret room by finding and activating 15 switches hidden throughout the game world – this is known as the Buried City Easter Egg.
This isn’t just a simple search for items. Players have to press a series of switches in a very specific order, a code figured out by the community on the ARC Raiders Puzzle Discord server. Mess up the order – by pressing a switch at the wrong time, in the wrong sequence, or if another player interferes – and the puzzle completely resets, making everyone start over.
Unlocking the secret room is particularly difficult. You’ll face dangers from enemy raiders, the possibility of making mistakes, and the stress of a ticking clock, leaving almost no margin for error. Plus, the switches are far apart, so you need to move quickly and have a solid plan to activate them all before time runs out.
The Easter Egg is very challenging to complete alone. It’s best to play with friends or work together with other players online. This makes it easier to cover the area and press buttons in the right order without having to run back and forth.
It won’t matter what you’ve learned if you don’t know where to flip the switches. Here are the locations, in the correct order, to solve the puzzle.
Where To Find All 15 Buried City Buttons In ARC Raiders

This image shows exactly where each of the 15 buttons is located and the order you need to press them in to finish the Buried City Music Room Easter Egg.
It’s crucial to press the buttons in the right order. Start with button number 1 and continue sequentially up to 15 – that’s when the secret room will open. If you press a button out of order, even by mistake, the puzzle will reset, so pay close attention to timing and work carefully.
This guide will help you find and activate each button in the correct sequence. Although the buttons are generally easy to see once you’re close, getting to them quickly and smoothly is the difficult part. Use this guide to map out your path, work with your team to cover more ground, and avoid unnecessary restarts.
Button 1

Go to the bottom left side of Plaza Rosa and jump in through the open window. Go up to the second floor and walk towards the cupboard. You’ll find the button hidden behind some chairs right next to it.
Button 2

Head quickly to the Galleria building and go up to the roof. Find the elevator shaft with a zipline and use it to go down. When you reach the bottom, turn left – the button you’re looking for is hidden behind some metal shelves.
Button 3

Head to the Warehouse building, which is on the far west side of the map. Go up to the roof and walk towards the skylights. The button you’re looking for is stuck between two big vents.
Button 4

Visit Marano Park and find the small shop located in the middle. Once inside, look in the corner of the room – you’ll find the button next to some shelves.
Button 5

Head to Grandioso Apartments, Building B1. Take the elevator to the top floor, but don’t go to the roof. Once there, turn left and walk onto the balcony. Break the first window on your left to get inside. Go through the doorway on your left, then turn left again. You’ll find the button hidden behind the couch.
Button 6

Go to Piazza Arbusto and climb the blue tower. From there, drop down to the rooftop just below the balcony, and then carefully walk along the narrow ledge to your left. You’ll find the button at the end of the ledge.
Button 7

Head to the road that runs between the Library and the Su Durante Warehouses. Look for a bus parked close to a blank billboard – the button you need is inside it.
Button 8

Go to the buildings close to Town Hall, right above where the map says “Corso da Vinci”. Once inside the red building, go upstairs and find the kitchen. From there, turn left into the small bedroom – you’ll find the button in the corner next to the bed.
Button 9

Go to the building furthest east, near the highway and Buried Properties. Once inside, search for a small opening within the ruins. The button you’re looking for is located between a yellow generator and the wall.
Button 10

Enter the Hospital through the ground-floor entrance on the east side, near the sign that says “OSPEDALE”. Look for the emergency stairwell and find the button located underneath the stairs, next to the wet floor warnings.
Button 11

You’ll find this button hidden under a lowered part of the highway, attached to the ceiling inside the building just to the right of the ‘Grandioso Apartments’ marker on the map.
Button 12

Go to the Church Ruins and find the rooftops on the lower-left side. Look for a button right next to the chimney that’s nearest the sand.
Button 13

Head to the Santa Maria Houses and go into the yellow building on the west side. Take the stairs all the way up to the top floor, then use the zipline to get to the attic. Once inside, you’ll find the button located between a bare shelf and some cardboard boxes.
Button 14

You’ll find this button in a tower that’s mostly hidden between Piazza Roma and the Warehouse. Look for it at the end of the diagonal line on the map.
Button 15

The last button you need is inside the Easter Egg room, which is locked. To get there, go to the ground floor of the building north of the Red Tower. Enter through the partially underground window of the yellow building, and you’ll find a button right in front of the locked door. Press it to open the room, collect the treasure inside, then leave to claim your rewards.
Finish this Easter Egg and you’ll unlock enough virtual instruments to form a band in ARC Raiders! What instrument would you like the developers to add to the game? Let us know your ideas on the official TopMob Discord server.
