Heroes in My Hero Academia exist because villains create the need for them. The series showcases a wide variety of villains, ranging from petty criminals to incredibly powerful threats that could destroy the world.
Like heroes, villains in My Hero Academia also have powerful, unique abilities they use in battle. While the series has showcased a lot of ultimate moves from the heroes and students, the villains certainly aren’t holding back. Here are some of the most impressive ultimate moves we’ve seen from the villains so far.
Starservant — Enlightened Fallen King
Starservant’s ability to control glass isn’t the flashiest power in the series, but it can be surprisingly dangerous. He can manipulate any glass around him, making him a difficult opponent to fight.
During the Endeavor Agency Arc, Starservant attempts to lure out Endeavor by using his powerful attack, Enlightened Fallen King. This move involves gathering glass from nearby buildings to form a large, destructive orb aimed at his opponents. While incredibly damaging, as Endeavor demonstrated, a sufficiently strong hero can overcome it with relative ease.
Twice — Sad Man’s Parade
Twice was a particularly tragic villain in My Hero Academia. He seemed cheerful and energetic, but he had a deeply painful past, which made audiences feel sympathy for him even though he was a villain. While not the strongest fighter, his Double Quirk made him a challenging opponent in specific battles.
Twice’s powerful attack, Sad Man’s Parade, can easily overwhelm unprepared heroes. He creates copies of himself, and those copies create even more copies, quickly filling the area with thousands of duplicates. What makes it so effective is that destroying one clone doesn’t stop the attack – another one instantly takes its place. This makes it incredibly difficult to deal with and excellent for controlling groups of enemies.
Re-Destro — Stress:100%
Re-Destro, originally the leader of the Meta Liberation Army and later a key member of the Paranormal Liberation Front, was a formidable villain. His power, the Stress Quirk, let him convert negative feelings like stress and anger into raw energy, significantly increasing his strength and physical size.
Re-Destro’s strongest attack, Stres:100%, allows him to maximize his quirk by pushing his body to its breaking point. This dramatically increases his strength and size, and also enhances his ability to release powerful energy blasts from his hands.
Himiko Toga — Sad Man’s Legion
Despite being a villain, Toga has become a surprisingly popular character in My Hero Academia. This is likely due to her tragic past and how poorly she was treated for being different. While her Quirk, Transform, is powerful and flexible, we only truly saw its full potential during the Final War Arc.
Okay, so Toga’s Sad Man’s Legion is seriously amazing! It’s basically her copying Twice’s ultimate move, but she puts her own spin on it. She creates a whole army of clones – and not just any clones, but copies of heroes and villains, including herself, Twice, Tsuyu, Uraraka, Jiro, and even those super-strong Nomu! Just like Twice’s version, it’s incredibly overwhelming for anyone facing it. But honestly, I think Toga’s is even better because she can throw so many different types of clones at her opponents. It’s way more versatile and powerful!
Dark Might — Torino Smash
Though he was just a character in a movie, Dark Might made a big impression on fans. Also known as Valdo Gollini, he led the Gollini crime family and is considered one of the series’ most memorable villains, right up there with Shigaraki and All For One.
Valdo strongly resembles All Might when he transforms, and he’s incredibly strong. His most powerful move, the Torino Smash – a variation of All Might and Deku’s Detroit Smash – is a simple but devastating blow. It’s powerful enough to directly oppose Deku’s Detroit Smash and launch him backwards.
Dabi — Prominence Burn
Dabi’s fighting style isn’t particularly original – he largely copies moves from his father, Endeavor, with one exception being Shoto’s Phosphor. However, this isn’t about respect; Dabi intentionally uses Endeavor’s signature techniques to fight him, all while publicly exposing and damaging his father’s reputation and past mistakes. Despite lacking creativity, Dabi is still a very dangerous opponent.
Dabi’s most powerful attack, Prominence Burn, is similar to his father’s. It’s an incredibly destructive technique, generating intense heat that can vaporize almost any enemy – matching the power of Endeavor himself. Dabi nearly succeeded in using it to defeat Endeavor, but Best Jeanist intervened and stopped him from delivering the final blow.
All For One — Omni-Factor Unleash
All For One, the main villain in My Hero Academia, is incredibly dangerous because he can steal and give quirks to others. Although he often worked from the shadows, he was a formidable fighter. With a vast collection of stolen quirks at his disposal, he was almost unbeatable.
All For One’s most powerful attack, Omni-Factor Unleash, lets him combine all the quirks he’s stolen into a single, devastating blast. Using this move drastically transforms his body, making him appear monstrous while granting him immense strength and speed.
