Getting a consistent supply of these berries is tough, but there’s a way to quickly gather a large amount, giving you enough to last the rest of the game. Here’s how to do it.

How to Farm Hyper Berries in Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension

The quickest way to collect Hyper Berries in Pokemon Legends: Z-A is by crafting the 5-Star Lavish Kasib Jam Donut. This donut boosts both berry find rates and the amount of berries you gather. You’ll need eight Hyper Kasib Berries to make it.

Okay, so I’ve discovered that if a Donut has both of these abilities, using it to jump into a Hyperspace Distortion is amazing. Seriously, you get a ton of Hyper Berries from that run – it makes every attempt super rewarding and efficient!

  • Item Power: Berries: This power makes you a lot more likely to get Hyperspace Berries from the floating Poke Balls found in hyperspace.
  • Big Haul Power: This power makes you receive a lot more items than usual from the floating Poke Balls found in hyperspace.

When making donuts, the flavor you choose – like spicy, sweet, sour, bitter, or fresh – determines its special abilities (called Flavor Powers). Specifically, the ‘Berries’ and ‘Big Haul’ effects both boost the ‘Sour’ stat, which is represented by the color yellow. So, the more ‘Sour’ a donut is, the better your chances of getting the Flavor Powers you want.

The Hyper Kasib Berry creates the sourest donuts, adding 95 points of sourness to each one. Using eight of these berries will maximize a donut’s sourness, reaching a total score of 760 – the highest possible.

Hyper Berry Farming Method

  1. Complete Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 5 (Rogue Mega Heatran) to unlock Hyperspace Butter.
  2. Talk to Nurse Joy at any Pokemon Center in Lumiose City to trigger an Auto Save.

    3. Fast travel to Hotel Z and make a Donut using eight Hyper Kasib Berries.

  3. Check if the Donut has the Item Power: Berries and Big Haul Power Flavor Powers.

    4. If the Donut does not have the desired Flavor Powers, close the game and boot it up again.

  4. On the title screen, press Up (D-Pad), X, and B at the same time.
  5. Select “Start from backup save data,” and the game will load from the Auto Save in the Pokemon Center.

    6. Repeat from Step 2 until you make a Donut with Item Power: Berries and Big Haul Power.

  6. Enter a 4-Star Large Hyperspace Wild Zone (reroll hyperspace by resting at a bench if one is not found).

Every time you clear the floating Poke Balls in hyperspace, you’ll typically get about seven or eight Hyper Berries. Because Large zones have more than a dozen of these Poke Balls, each attempt can be very rewarding, usually giving you around 10 to 15 Hyper Berries of each type.

Golden Pokeballs are rare in Large Hyperspace distortions. To make sure you don’t miss one, save your game right after finishing all the objectives in an area. If you don’t find a Golden Pokeball, reload your save and try again.

The game automatically saves whenever Ansha creates a Donut. By using the backup save file located at the Pokemon Center, you can repeatedly use eight Hyper Kasib Berries until you successfully make a Donut with both Item Power: Berries and Big Haul Power activated, which significantly reduces the time and effort needed.

With the Hyperspace Butter, Ansha can make Donuts with eight Berries. Using more Hyper Berries in a Donut makes it more powerful and boosts its special stats, leading to better results each time you try. Trying to collect Hyper Berries before unlocking this feature isn’t very efficient and won’t be worth your time in the long run.

How to Get Hyper Kasib Berry in Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension

In Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s Mega Dimension DLC, you can find Hyper Kasib Berries by opening floating Poke Balls in 4-Star Hyperspace Zones and higher. You’ll have the best chance of getting one from the golden Poke Ball that appears after you’ve finished everything in a Hyperspace Zone.

Okay, so if you’re trying to get a Hyper Kasib Berry, here’s what I do: I always save right before I hit one of those floating Poke Balls. If it doesn’t give me the Hyper Kasib Berry I’m after, I just reload that save and try again. Seriously, you can keep doing that over and over until it finally drops. It’s a bit of a grind, but it works!

This technique lets you quickly collect around eight Hyper Kasib Berries in just a few tries, which saves a lot of time.
