Netflix’s animated series, Arcane, concluded after two seasons in 2024, and there won’t be any more. Though not perfect, Arcane was a fantastic show and ranks among the best animated series of the 2020s. It’s likely to remain a standout even years later, but it’s just one example of many excellent shows. We’re currently enjoying a high point for animated series, and Arcane is only one of several truly exceptional productions.

It’s rare to find a show as good as Arcane – and that’s a good thing! Luckily, if you loved Arcane, there are a few newer releases that offer a similar level of stunning animation and bold storytelling. While each of these shows is unique, they’re worth watching if you’re missing Vi and Jinx and want something to fill that void.
