Leaked Avengers Doomsday Trailer 2 Reveals More Characters for the Movie

The following contains potential spoilers for two of Avengers: Doomsday‘s teaser trailers.

Recently, leaks have been common for the upcoming Marvel movie, Avengers: Doomsday. Now, another teaser trailer has appeared online before it was officially scheduled to be released. While the first trailer, which showed Captain America’s return, is already playing in theaters and available online, this new footage seems to have been released ahead of schedule. It reveals two more characters who will be in the film, giving fans a sneak peek at the massive scale of the next Avengers movie.

Similar to the initial preview, this new trailer was originally intended to play only before screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash. This was part of a planned marketing campaign to gradually reveal details about Avengers: Doomsday over several weeks. However, the trailer leaked online, bringing that information to light earlier than anticipated. With more trailers expected to be shown with Avatar, it appears the promotion for Doomsday is beginning sooner than Marvel intended.

Avengers: Doomsday’s Latest Leaked Teaser Confirms Return of Thor and Love

Although it was already known Chris Hemsworth would reprise his role as Thor in Avengers: Doomsday – announced in a trailer earlier in 2025 – a recently leaked teaser has confirmed more details. Not only does it reinforce Thor’s return, but it also reveals that his adopted daughter, Love, will appear with him. The teaser shows Thor praying for the strength to overcome a “new enemy” and return home to Love, and includes a touching scene of him sitting on her bed, talking to her and kissing her forehead.

Throughout my life, I’ve always responded to the demands of honor, duty, and battle. But now, fate has given me something I never expected: a daughter. She’s been spared from hardship, and I need the strength to fight again – to overcome a new threat and return to her. I want to come home not as a soldier, but as someone who will keep her safe. She deserves peace and calm, a life I’ve never had. Please, Father, listen to my plea.

It’s not surprising Chris Hemsworth is reprising his role as Thor in Avengers: Doomsday – he was the first actor announced for the film. But with reports that Natalie Portman’s character, Jane Foster (Love), will also be back, the reasons behind Thor’s decision to fight have become more complicated. He now has someone else to consider and protect.

Avengers: Doomsday’s First Teaser Confirms the Return of Steve Rogers as Captain America

Although Chris Hemsworth’s return for Avengers: Doomsday was announced earlier, Chris Evans’ wasn’t. A leaked version of the first teaser trailer hinted at his return as Captain America, just like the second teaser did. Now, with the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash, the official first teaser has confirmed that the Avengers star will be back for Doomsday. Marvel has now also released the teaser trailer online, so fans who haven’t seen Avatar in theaters – or don’t plan to – can get a first look at Captain America in Doomsday.

The initial trailer opens with a man riding his motorcycle home and hanging his helmet on the handlebars. The reveal of his identity comes when he enters the house and picks up Captain America’s suit. We then see him holding a baby, likely his child with Peggy Carter. Finally, the trailer shows Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) himself, confirming his return in Avengers: Doomsday.

The latest trailer for Avengers: Doomsday is set to premiere before screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash this weekend. Marvel plans to release a new trailer each week that Avatar is in theaters. While Marvel hasn’t officially acknowledged leaked footage of the trailer, they haven’t said whether it will be changed before its official release. With Chris Evans now confirmed to reprise his role alongside Chris Hemsworth, the next Avengers movie is shaping up to be a major gathering of stars.
