While the release of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen on Switch is exciting, it doesn’t necessarily mean other older Pokemon games will follow. However, the strong reaction to these Game Boy Advance titles shows there’s definitely interest in them. These versions are largely unchanged from the originals, with very little updating. Pokemon Home compatibility was initially advertised on the Nintendo eShop, but has since been removed, and it may take a while before it’s working. This means you won’t be able to transfer and use all 46 Pokemon in these games right away.

Unlike Gojo’s domain, Malevolent Shrine was straightforward: it unleashed a barrage of slicing attacks—both Cleaves and Dismantles—on everything within a large area, living or not. Unusually, Malevolent Shrine didn’t create a sealed barrier. Instead, it allowed targets to escape, but significantly increased the overall range of the attack.

As a long-time Pokémon player, I always thought FireRed and LeafGreen were some of the most true-to-the-original remakes. Later pairs of games often changed things up a lot, but these two mostly just differed in which Pokémon you could catch. FireRed had Pokémon like Arcanine, Scizor, and Electabuzz that a lot of people loved, while LeafGreen had Ninetales, Slowbro/Slowking, and Starmie, to name a few. Usually, picking which version came down to what Pokémon you wanted on your team or just which one you remembered from when you were a kid. But there’s actually a little extra detail most players forget – Deoxys! It adds a bit of a twist that’s easy to miss if you weren’t a super dedicated fan.

You can choose to play Resident Evil Requiem from either a first-person or third-person perspective. However, Capcom suggests using first-person when controlling Grace Ashcroft and third-person for Leon S. Kennedy. I followed this advice during my first playthrough, and found the game was more impactful when I stuck with these settings. First-person really emphasizes the horror of Grace’s story, while third-person allows Leon’s action sequences to stand out.

TopMob interviewed game designers Jake Shillan, who worked extensively on the Zul’Aman area, and Kim Flack, a key developer of the Prey system. They discussed how Zul’Aman was a particularly significant and challenging new zone in the expansion, and how Prey introduced a potentially game-changing feature. Both designers emphasized the dedication they put into these elements and explained their process for meeting player expectations.

The graphics in Resident Evil Requiem really showcase how advanced modern games have become. I haven’t been this visually impressed by a game in a long time. It looks absolutely stunning, with top-of-the-line graphics, excellent optimization, and a beautiful overall presentation. The game offers a lot of detailed graphics options, making it one of the best-looking games I’ve ever played.

Though he’s not currently wrestling on WWE’s main television shows, Hendry gained a large following online thanks to his catchy entrance music and a fun gimmick – he appears whenever anyone says his name during a match or interview.
