The Marines are a major global force in the world of One Piece, considered one of the three most powerful organizations. They act as the military arm of the World Government and are known for their strength, especially their elite leaders, the Admirals.

The Marines typically have three Admirals, with a single Fleet Admiral leading them all as the highest-ranking officer. Currently, Greenbull, Fujitora, and Kizaru serve as Admirals, and Akainu has risen to the position of Fleet Admiral. These Admirals are incredibly powerful, possessing strong Devil Fruit abilities and Haki, but there are still characters capable of defeating them.

Boa Hancock

Hawkeye Mihawk

Watching the events unfold in One Piece, especially in Wano and on Egghead, it’s become pretty clear that all the Yonko – except maybe Buggy – are on a different level than the Admirals. Take Big Mom, for example. Her Haki is incredibly strong, and she’s mastered her Devil Fruit abilities to a point where she’d easily win in a fight against any of the Admirals, in my opinion.

Kaido

Kaido is easily one of the most powerful characters in One Piece, and his battles demonstrate that. As the central villain in the Wano arc, he proved to be a formidable opponent. Luffy struggled to beat Kaido, even while using his powerful Gear 5 form. However, he seemed to be holding back against Kizaru with the same Gear 5. This clearly shows Kaido is stronger than most Admirals – he’d easily defeat one. In fact, Green Bull even said he wouldn’t have gone near Wano if Kaido was still around.

Rocks D. Xebec

Loki was incredibly powerful – the only person ever to defeat him was Shanks, even the warriors of Elbaf couldn’t manage it. He was even strong enough to defeat Harald, who was stronger than the legendary Pirate King, Roger, after Harald had increased his power.
