WWE 2K25: Best Male Wrestlers, Ranked

Stepping into an age of revival for the WWE, I’ve found myself immersed in a world where every superstar – male or female – pours their heart out, perspiration, and even tears, striving to etch groundbreaking triumphs across the vast expanse of the WWE universe.

In the WWE 2K25 game, you’ll find an impressive lineup of male wrestlers who are the company’s top performers and have won the hearts of fans. This includes the current WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, and none other than “Yeet man” Jey Uso.

Step into the virtual ring with me as we delve into my carefully chosen top 10 roster of male wrestlers from the thrilling world of WWE 2K25. Let’s see if these superstars’ overall ratings align with their recent achievements in the game!

10. Bron Breaker

Who Let The Dogs Out?

Rating 87
Type Powerhouse

Born to Rick Steiner and demonstrating immense strength upon his NXT promotion, Bron Breaker radiated stardom.

One method of expressing this sentence more fluidly could be: “His incredible speed during rope-assisted sprints is just one example of his remarkable athletic abilities, as he can strike his opponents so swiftly that it’s challenging for even YouTube highlights to follow him accurately.

In WWE 2K25, Bron’s 87 overall score seems spot-on, and that’s fantastic since I was sometimes puzzled by the women wrestlers initially, finding them hard to compare with their WWE 2K24 versions at first glance.

Bron has held the Intercontinental Championship on more than one occasion, and when he starts a conversation, his promotional speeches are incredibly entertaining to behold.

At present, it’s undetermined which role he will play at Wrestlemania, but I fervently anticipate that he will defend the title in a thrilling ladder match. This setup offers an intriguing opportunity to witness him in an exceptional match format and collaborating with several other skilled performers.

9. Drew Mcintyre

He Prayed For This & It Happened

Rating 91
Type Powerhouse

In the year 2024, it’s quite likely that Drew McIntyre experienced one of the most thrilling journeys. This included re-signing his contract, engaging in an exceptional rivalry with Punk, and their brutal Hell in a Cell encounter at Bad Blood serving as the climactic showdown.

Despite his World Championship victory at Wrestlemania 40 only lasting five minutes, he is undeniably one of the most worthy wrestlers within the roster, boasting an impressive overall rating of 91 in WWE 2K25.

I was eagerly anticipating that he would feature in at least one of the contenders for the secondary championship matches during WrestleMania Las Vegas 2025.

By the way, let’s cross our fingers that after this phase, he’ll have even more fantastic feuds, as McIntyre excels at his mic skills, character development, and playful banter on social media, where he often teases and engages with fans and peers.

8. Jey Uso

The Miracle of a Vine Catchphrase

Rating 90
Type Striker

I appreciate the transformation of Jey Uso since his tag team days with his brother, yet the “Yeet” persona leaves me a bit perplexed. While it’s clear he’s popular among fans, I find myself yearning for the Jey who stood up against Roman in Tribal Combat, unleashing his fiery spirit.

Jey made a rapid ascent within the company, claiming the Intercontinental Championship and triumphing in the 2025 Royal Rumble competition.

In my opinion, he successfully keeps his total rating at 90, as it was in NBA 2K24. This seems appropriate to me, neither overly impressive nor underwhelming, given his immense fame among WWE fans.

Even though I’m optimistic, I truly hope Jey puts in maximum effort for an outstanding game against Gunther. If not, I fear he might rely on his signature ‘three moves of doom’, which could lead to a win, but the audience will still adore him regardless of the match’s quality.

7. Randy Orton

The Voices In His Head

Rating 92
Type Technician

It’s no surprise that Randy, who goes by numerous nicknames like The Legend Killer, Apex Predator, Viper, and is adored by many generations, received a thunderous standing ovation upon his return at Survivor Series ’23.

Compared to the ’10 version of him I remember from my childhood, he now appears more mature and composed, as though he intends to make the most of his remaining time in relative tranquility, indulging in leisurely activities outside the main challenges since he’s achieved everything significant in WWE.

Since the year 2K24, Randy’s score has increased by one point, an improvement that can be attributed to his impressive performances during his year-long feud with the new Bloodline and notable matches against Gunther.

In simpler terms, his RKO (a famous wrestling move) is highly recognized across the globe. Just like me, I bet you’d be thrilled to see him contend for another title in the “My Universe” mode because it’s hard not to adore him so deeply.

6. CM Punk

The Best in the World

Rating 92
Type Striker

As a youngster, CM Punk was undeniably one of my favorite wrestlers. From his intense rivalry with Jeff Hardy in ’09, to leading the Straight Edge Society, and ultimately becoming WWE Champion following the dramatic Summer of Punk saga, he never failed to captivate me.

A full ten years after his initial departure, Punk made a stunning comeback at Survivor Series ’23, greeted by one of the most thunderous receptions in recent history. As a devoted fan, I couldn’t help but feel a rush of exhilaration; it was an experience that I won’t soon forget.

As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t help but feel the adrenaline rushing as I step into the ring with ECW Punk in the latest DLC of WWE 2K25. With his iconic cult of personality, this legend kicks off with an impressive overall rating of 90. But wait till you see him now, he’s amped up to a solid 92!

No matter if you’re fond of him or not, Punk has been delivering spectacular fights ever since his comeback, starting with an intense feud against Drew McIntyre, the thrilling Wargames match, and several fiery encounters with Seth Rollins.

5. Cody Rhodes

He Finished the Story

Rating 96
Type Technician

Currently, Cody is the leading figure in the company and also holds the WWE Undisputed Championship title. He clinched the championship last year at WrestleMania 40 by defeating Roman Reigns.

He’s among our company’s top performers and has remarkably transformed himself throughout his time in indie wrestling and AEW. Realizing the ultimate dream of being WWE’s most valuable asset, one might as well call it the epitome of a Cinderella story – or more appropriately, the embodiment of the American Dream.

Cody’s score has gone up by three points compared to the last record, placing him among the top two most highly-regarded male wrestlers in WWE 2K25.

Despite some opposing views labeling it as an unappealing matchup, he has consistently challenged for the title over the past year by facing formidable opponents such as AJ Styles, Logan Paul, and Kevin Owens in exciting bouts.

4. Super Cena

We Literally Can’t See Him

Rating 100
Type Powerhouse

If you were a fan of WWE during the mid-2000s and 2010s, it’s likely that you’re familiar with John Cena being nicknamed “Super Cena” by fans. He was often portrayed as winning against all odds in matches until Brock Lesnar dealt him a significant defeat.

As a devoted fan, I can proudly say that the creators really pulled out all the stops to transform him into an undiscovered Easter egg character, hidden from our eyes. In the grand universe of WWE 2K25, his overall score is unparalleled, achieving a flawless 100 – the highest rating any character has ever received!

To gain access to Super Cena, you’ll have to accumulate twenty stars in the My Rise mode while playing your Live Event matches, ensuring decent performance ratings along the way. It might take some time, but it’s a manageable challenge that can be achieved with persistence.

It’s one of the most impressive tributes you can pay to some of wrestling’s most famous and well-loved figures, even though it might be challenging to compete against him in the ring because of his unique invisibility gimmick.

3. The Rock

Final Boss Engaged

Rating 95
Type Powerhouse

Instead of selecting ’01 Rock as a representation of his humble start in the industry, the current incarnation, reminiscent of a formidable final boss, added an extraordinary charm to the road towards Wrestlemania 40, making it truly unforgettable.

Regardless of whether or not opinions differ about the modifications in certain plans and his sudden appearances on shows like Bad Blood ’24 proved unproductive, it’s heartening to see him make a timely appearance for the Elimination Chamber event, particularly during that memorable John Cena heel-turn moment.

In a recent update, The Rock’s overall score increased to 95, a single point higher than his previous game. This rise in rating, primarily symbolizing his stature as a wrestling legend and popular cultural figure, is particularly significant given that it comes after his anticipated Wrestlemania 40 match against Cody.

As a dedicated gamer, I must admit that the Final Boss from 2K25 remains among my all-time favorite highest-rated characters. In fact, if given the chance, I believe this character could easily hold the title of champion within the My Universe mode.

2. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin

Brought the Attitude Era To Your Doorstep

Rating 97
Type Powerhouse

During the Attitude Era, Stone Cold was a highly esteemed wrestler. The remarkable foundation of his enduring legacy can be traced back to his memorable “Austin 3:16” speech that he delivered during the King of the Ring tournament.

Back in the day, there was this unforgettable wrestler named Steve Austin who had an entrance theme that shattered glass like nobody’s business. His character was a total rebel, always challenging authority and even going so far as to take on his own boss! I wish I could have witnessed the chaos he caused with my own eyes when he had rivalries with him.

Thankfully, there are only two iterations of him in WWE 2K25. To be honest, with a remarkable score of 97 for the basic Stone Cold Steve Austin, they could’ve easily given him a 99 overall rating, and I firmly believe that everyone would have been content with it.

In the initial version of him in NBA 2K24, he scored an 86 rating, which can be justified because during that time, he had distinct versions for the 2000s and 2001, marking his peak performance in the game.

1. Roman Reigns

Acknowledge Him

Rating 96
Type Powerhouse

Based on his role as the game’s main figure on the cover, one might think it’s a no-brainer, but I couldn’t help but place him first in my rankings.

Roman Reigns maintained the undefeated hold on the WWE Unified Championship for an extraordinary and record-breaking duration of 1,316 days, until Cody Rhodes successfully claimed the title at Wrestlemania 40.

As a gamer, I may have my own thoughts about his part-time gameplay during the championship, but it’s the very fact that he only plays part-time that makes his victories so iconic and precious in the last five years.

Through his leadership style akin to a tribal chief and the narrative of The Bloodline, he steered the company successfully from the COVID period right up until late 2024. Moreover, he laid the groundwork for family members such as Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa to shine individually in their respective limelights.

In simpler terms, Roman’s current score has decreased by one, leaving him and Cody as the top-rated active male wrestlers in the game. However, you can still access his 2022 variant, boasting an overall rating of 97.
