As a veteran gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must say that the gaming landscape is more vibrant and exciting than ever before. The upcoming release of Sea Power: Naval Combat In The Missile Age has me positively giddy! I’ve always been a sucker for strategy games, especially those set during the Cold War era, so this one hits all the right notes for me. I can only hope that the gameplay lives up to the impressive visuals it promises.

Sea Power: Naval Combat In The Missile Age Release Date
Among the games I’m eagerly anticipating is “Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age,” developed by the creative mind behind the acclaimed game, Cold Waters. This strategic masterpiece is set to be released in November. In “Sea Power,” you’ll assume command over NATO and Warsaw Pact naval and aerial weaponry, engaging in intense battles on the open seas.
In this game, you’ll find over 150 naval vessels and more than 60 aircraft dating back to the Cold War period that will be deployed across the North Atlantic, the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Tonkin, and the Mediterranean. The game boasts intricate flight and ship physics, detailed weapon modeling with over 130 different weapon systems, and a variety of 50 distinct ground objects. I’m quite impressed with its visuals so far. Let’s hope that the gameplay matches up to these impressive visuals.
The game’s coming out in November 2024. No day has been announced.
FrostPunk 2 Out Now
Six years have passed since the initial release of Frostpunk, and I was under the impression it came out in 2021. The “bring your kids to work” style video game now boasts a more ambitious sequel: Frostpunk 2. This follow-up expands upon the original by allowing you to assume the role of Steward, responsible for managing entire city districts all at once.
In a continuous winter landscape, similar difficulties arise with human behavior. On one side, it’s crucial that you ensure everyone stays warm and well-fed. Once these fundamental requirements are met, people may start finding other reasons to be unhappy, leading to contentious groups. As an Overseer, your responsibility is to regulate their expectations, requests, and needs to maintain everyone’s survival and prevent societal chaos from arising.
Planet Coaster 2 Release Date Announced
In November, on the 6th, we can expect the release of Planet Coaster 2. This follow-up to the widely praised original park management game aims to deliver an unparalleled park management experience. What sets Planet Coaster apart, though, is its integration of water park rides.

War of the Austrian Succession
In about six months, Wargame Design Studio is set to release a fresh addition titled “War of the Austrian Succession” for their Musket & Pike series. This project’s lead designer is an experienced historian who has collaborated with the team on previous projects. At present, they are in the process of testing 66 scenarios, with another 20 on the horizon. It’s anticipated that three campaigns will be included in the final product.

Scourge of War – Remastered: Ligny DLC Available Now
After experiencing Scourge of War – Remastered, I must say that the difference in performance is like night and day. The game runs smoothly without compromising its core gameplay, and there are numerous user interface enhancements. Having given my approval, Norb Soft has launched Scourge of War: Waterloo Ligny, the second expansion of the original game’s three (the others being Quatre Bras and Wavre).
The game Ligny offers five different battle scenarios featuring Napoleon’s forces attacking Prussian troops led by Field Marshal Blucher. The price varies based on your region, at around 9 dollars, 8 pounds, or 9 euros. If you enjoy Napoleonic warfare, Scourge of War is currently the top choice for you.
Call to Arms: Gates of Hell New Faction
