EA FC 25: How to Change Club's Name in Ultimate Team

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must admit that EA Sports FC 25 has certainly piqued my interest this year. The Ultimate Team mode, in particular, has always been a favorite pastime of mine, and the new Rush Mode is an exciting addition to the mix.

Players who purchased the Ultimate Edition of EA Sports FC 25 can now access it early, while the full game will be available on all platforms starting September 27th for everyone else. As the new season begins, enthusiasts have been eagerly testing out the newest features, particularly within the Ultimate Team game mode. The standout addition to this year’s game is undeniably the Rush Mode in the Ultimate Team. This innovative game mode offers incredibly quick-tempo matches in a short span of time, enabling players to quickly accumulate UT coins and XP.

While building their ideal dream team using preferred player cards, gamers have the freedom to tailor every aspect, including stadium design, colors, seating arrangements, pitch layout, and more. Unfortunately, the Ultimate Team’s Club menu currently lacks the option to modify the club’s name, which may cause some confusion for newcomers despite the customization options being readily available within the menu. This tutorial will walk you through a step-by-step process on how to alter your Ultimate Team’s club name.

How to Change Club’s Name in Ultimate Team

In this year’s Ultimate Team, you’ll find an array of thrilling new player cards such as TOTW 1 Lamine Yamal and special cards like Total Rush Challenge, POTM Erling Haaland, and Arnaut Danjuma. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic start! However, if you can’t find the option to rename your club, your dream of having a unique team may remain unfulfilled. To change the name of your club in FC 25 Ultimate Team, just follow these steps:

  1. Launch EA Sports FC 25, and then enter the Ultimate Team mode.
  2. Once in the Ultimate Team main menu, slide to the Settings option by pressing RB/R1/C and then enter the menu.
  3. Scroll to the Rename Club option and enter the menu.
  4. Inside the menu, you will find the option to change your Club’s name and Abbreviation.
  5. Click on Club Name to set the name you want for your club, and then click on Abbreviation to set a nickname for your club that will display on the match’s scoreboard.
  6. When you are done setting up the new names, select Confirm Club Name to have your Ultimate Team Club’s name updated throughout the game.

It’s perfectly fine if you want to change the team name you initially chose. Luckily, throughout the entire season, players have the freedom to rename their team multiple times. So, if you’re finding it hard to pick a suitable name, don’t fret; go with what feels right for now. And should you choose to alter your mind later, remember that you can always adjust the name to something more fitting.

Keep in mind that the Club’s title should not be longer than 15 characters, and its abbreviation should not extend beyond three characters. It is strongly recommended to avoid choosing any club name that could be considered offensive, as EA has a firm policy against such names and may penalize players by prohibiting them from using offensive team names during online games.
