January 2025 is Stacked for Nintendo Switch 2 Games, and My Wallet is Not Ready

I initially thought I’d get a Nintendo Switch 2 eventually, probably a year or two after it came out, once there were more games available and the initial excitement died down. However, after seeing the lineup of upcoming games, I realize waiting wasn’t a realistic option. The console is now a must-have, not just a future purchase. With so many promising games scheduled for January 2026 and beyond, I’ll be buying it for myself, and those games alone are enough to justify the cost.

However, there are a few possible hints within the trailer that might suggest what Arcanaut Studios has planned. As a reminder, all of this is speculation, but the story of Fate of the Old Republic could take a different path than the original KOTOR. Even though Arcanaut Studios says this game is a spiritual successor and not a direct sequel, some early connections to Darth Revan suggest interesting possibilities for the main character’s loyalties.

If you’re looking for a key, the best places to search are the apartment buildings on the map. The Pale Apartments or Ruby Residence on Dam Battlegrounds are good spots to check. Your chances of finding a key also go up during certain map events, like Cold Snap or Night Raid. Specifically, the wooden cabinets and drawers inside these apartments have a higher chance of containing keys, so they’re worth searching thoroughly.
