Starring Taron Egerton, Black Bird is based on a true story about Jimmy Keene, a prisoner who gets a deal: his criminal record will be wiped clean if he goes undercover for the FBI. It’s a compelling story, and many viewers will appreciate that the show focuses on developing its characters instead of relying on shocking violence – a refreshing change for the true crime genre. While Apple TV+ has a lot of quality shows, Black Bird is definitely among its best and should be considered one of their top offerings.

While the first group of Pokémon from Generation 8 arrived in Pokémon GO in 2020, some Pokémon from the Galar region are still not available. I decided to revisit some older games I wasn’t sure I’d fully understood when I first played them. These games were all quite controversial, and I had strong opinions after my initial playthroughs. Going back to them now, I can better appreciate different viewpoints. While I didn’t completely change my mind on everything (though I did on a few!), I now understand why people still have such differing opinions about these games.
Nintendo has announced that Pokemon Champions will launch on Nintendo Switch on April 7, 2026, with a mobile version for iOS and Android coming afterward. The game is free to start and centers around Pokemon battles in an arena setting. Players can compete in ranked, casual, or private matches, and will eventually be able to battle each other across different devices once the mobile version is available. Battles will be both one-on-one and team-based, featuring squads of six Pokemon.
