Every Miners Diary Location in Star Wars Outlaws (Mos Algo)

As a seasoned Star Wars Outlaws player, I can confidently say that the Repulsor Train intel chain is one of my favorite quests! The thrill of hunting down lost datapads without knowing their exact locations makes the challenge even more intriguing.

In the game “Star Wars Outlaws“, the quest named “Repulsor Train” involves tracking down three missing datapads, known as the Miner’s Diary. The catch is that the specific locations of these items aren’t given, so you’ll have to find them yourself. Luckily, all three datapads are hidden in the same location—Mos Algo—which makes it easier to collect them swiftly. However, if the Repulsor Train quest doesn’t appear among your objectives initially, you’ll first need to interact with some Pyke gangsters to activate this “Star Wars Outlaws” mission.

How to Start the Repulsor Train Intel Chain

To start the Repulsor Train quest, make your way to Mos Eisley and chat with the Pyke technicians there. You can identify them by their presence in the first shop on the right when you enter Mos Eisley. They will guide you to locate an Engineer in Bestine. He’s easy to spot, as he’s perched on a damaged speeder. Once you find him, the Repulsor Train mission will be initiated, leading you to Mos Algo.

Where to Find All Miner’s Diary Datapads

The Miner’s Diary quest’s three data pads are scattered within and near the Mos Algo region. Here’s a guide on how to gather them:

Miner’s Diary #1: Abandoned House in the Mining Settlement

The initial Miner’s Diary can be found inside the deserted house, situated to the left of the landing site in Mos Algo. After you’ve landed, follow the path leading down towards the mining community. Once there, look for the first house on your left. Inside this house, you should discover a datapad labeled as “Day 1.

Miner’s Diary #2: The Mine Supply Room

The second Miner’s Diary datapad is hidden in a supply room that requires a keycard.

As a keen explorer in this mining settlement, I’d guide you towards the house that sports a humming generator nearby its entrance. This particular house is just behind the deserted dwelling where your first datapad was hidden. Once spotted, aim for the generator with your ion weaponry to deal it a decisive blow. With the generator disabled, the door will magically unlock, revealing the Mine Supply Room Keycard within.

Following that, I’d guide you towards the deserted mine shaft at the outskirts of our little town. Navigate your way past the boulders obstructing the entrance, then delve inside. Once you’re in, veer to the left as your first move – keep an eye out for a crack or opening in the stone wall.

Walk along the hidden trail until you get to the Supply Room. To open the door, you’ll first have to reinstate electricity. In the neighboring room, employ Nix to draw back the power supplier’s blinds, then fire at the generator to set it going. After the electricity comes back on, utilize your keycard to unlock the gate and grab the “Day 92” datalog.

Miner’s Diary #3: Lost Sandcrawler

The last Miner’s Diary datapad can be found concealed within the Lost Sandcrawler zone, an obscure part of the abandoned mine. To get there, progress through the mine’s tunnel until you come across a damaged wall obstructed by rocks that can be broken. Instead of veering left towards the Supply Room, keep going straight instead.

Shatter the boulders and make your way into the area of the Lost Sandcrawler. Travel along the parkour route until you encounter two successive grappling hook zones. Upon reaching them, you’ll stumble upon an old, deserted facility. Inside this facility, aim for the generator located behind a hole in the wall and instruct Nix to activate the lever, which will open the door. Once within, locate the final datapad, labeled “Day 140,” thereby completing the Repulsor Train mission.

Heading down the deserted building’s corridor, you’ll find yourself uncovering one of the hidden treasures from the missing Sandcrawler eventually.
