In MIO: Memories in Orbit, you play as MIO, a small robot tasked with saving the spaceship, the Vessel, and everyone on board from a looming catastrophe. It’s a Metroidvania-style game, meaning you’ll explore a large, interconnected world with new abilities unlocked as you progress.
As players progress, they’ll improve MIO’s skills while exploring the mysteries of the Vessel. Along the way, they’ll learn what caused the ship’s AI systems to fail and why it’s been lost in space.

MIO won’t be traveling alone – she’ll meet several helpful characters along the way. Capucine, a historian, is MIO’s assistant, but she’s currently missing somewhere within the Vessel and needs your help to be found. You’ll also meet Mel, a mechanic who works in the workshop and will provide MIO with the parts she needs. Finally, there’s Shi, the overseer, who used to keep watch over the entire ark. Once you fix the nexus, he can share his unique vision with MIO.
