Gardening in Heartopia is a peaceful hobby where you can plant, grow, and harvest crops to use in cooking. When you first start playing, you’ll mainly grow simple things like tomatoes, but as you gain experience, you’ll be able to grow more and more complex plants.
Once you’ve spent a little time improving your Gardening skill, you’ll be able to grow flowers in Heartopia. What’s really cool is that you can even crossbreed different flowers, adding a new layer of depth to gardening. However, it’s not always simple, and new players might find it a bit tricky. We’ll walk you through how to successfully crossbreed flowers in Heartopia below.
How to Crossbreed Flowers in Heartopia
Once you reach Gardening Level 3, the first step is to buy Flower Seeds from Blanc. You’ll then be able to choose from two different types of seeds. When you’re just starting out, you can usually find Red Daisy and White Daisy seeds, which you can use to start creating new flower types through crossbreeding.
Once you’ve purchased your flower seeds, plant them in your garden. Try planting different flower types right next to each other – for instance, a Red Daisy and a White Daisy on adjacent tiles. Water the flowers as you would any other crop. Remember that Daisies need 18 hours to fully grow.
Breeding flowers is often a matter of chance. Despite careful planning and effort, success isn’t guaranteed, so you might need to try multiple times to get the results you want.
