The world of Jujutsu Kaisen is filled with incredibly strong sorcerers, dangerous curses, and all sorts of powerful, cursed beings. But even among them, six characters stand out as the absolute strongest – no one else comes close to their level of power. Let’s take a look at these top-tier characters from Jujutsu Kaisen and its follow-up, Modulo.
Honorable Mention: Current Yuji Itadori

At the end of the original Jujutsu Kaisen series, Yuji was just beginning to unlock his full potential, mastering cursed energy and several techniques. Modulo takes place eighty years later, and by then, Yuji has become known as the strongest sorcerer – inheriting that title from his teacher.
He appears to be immortal, giving him centuries to master his abilities and reach incredible strength. Many fans think this makes him currently more powerful than even Sukuna or Gojo. However, because he hasn’t been shown much on screen, it’s hard to know for sure, and we’ll have to wait and see if Yuji ultimately becomes the strongest ever.

The Jujutsu Kaisen side story, Modulo, was a huge success with fans because it broadened the series’ world and power levels. It introduced many new characters, including Dabura, their strongest warrior, who was often presented as being as powerful as Sukuna. This was demonstrated by the fact that Cursed Speech didn’t work on him – he could simply disregard any commands given.
Okay, so everyone was really expecting Dabura to be a total powerhouse, and honestly, after Chapter 18, a lot of us started to wonder if he was really all that. Seeing him look scared of Mahoraga was a bit of a letdown! But then, when he finally stood his ground and shattered Mahoraga’s sword, something crazy happened – he unlocked this insane speed, like, seriously near the speed of light! That’s faster than even Gojo and Sukuna, which is mind-blowing. It’s clear now that Dabura is absolutely one of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen – he’s a beast!
Kenjaku Was An Ancient Powerhouse And A Jujutsu Genius
As Strong As He Was Intelligent

Kenjaku was the hidden mastermind behind everything that happened in Jujutsu Kaisen, secretly pulling the strings for over a thousand years. While incredibly intelligent, he was also a tremendously powerful sorcerer, skilled in manipulating cursed energy and possessing a variety of cursed techniques.
Furthermore, Kenjaku is one of the very few sorcerers who developed an Open Domain – a highly advanced technique – demonstrating his incredible skill with Jujutsu. There’s a lot of debate among fans, but many think he has a real chance of defeating Yuta Okkotsu.
Mahoraga Is Called The Gatekeeper Of Champions

Mahoraga, the strongest technique of the Ten Shadows, is arguably the most powerful ability in Jujutsu Kaisen because of its unique adaptation skill. It allows him to overcome any attack, even Gojo’s seemingly impenetrable Infinity, making Mahoraga an incredibly dangerous and versatile asset.
I’ve been watching Jujutsu Kaisen closely, and it seems like Yuta might be the only one besides the absolute strongest sorcerers who could actually beat Mahoraga. But it’s not necessarily about his raw power; he has a really specific set of abilities that directly counter Mahoraga’s strengths. So far, only Sukuna, Gojo, and Yuta have demonstrated the sheer destructive force needed to take down the Shikigami, which leads me to believe Mahoraga is probably the fourth strongest being we’ve seen in the series.
Yuta Okkotsu Has The Greatest Cursed Energy Reserves Ever
Even More Than Gojo

Many people think Yuta is actually more powerful than Kenjaku. He has an incredibly large amount of cursed energy and a uniquely powerful cursed technique. Because of his ability to copy other techniques, Yuta can use hundreds of different abilities he’s learned as a sorcerer, making him exceptionally strong.
Mahoraga is considered unbeatable by almost everyone, but Yuta is uniquely prepared to fight him. He has a wide range of abilities, including his Love Beam, and Rika’s power could destroy Mahoraga completely. Many fans also debate whether Yuta could have defeated Kenjaku on his own, without needing Takaba’s help.
Gojo Was The Strongest Of The Modern Era For A Reason
The Limitless Sorcerer

Despite the incredible abilities of all the other characters, Gojo and Sukuna are in a league of their own. While Sukuna is the strongest, Gojo is only a little weaker and is the only one capable of seriously harming Sukuna at full power. This clearly demonstrates that they are far more powerful than anyone else in the series.
While others have been born with the rare abilities of Limitless and Six Eyes, Gojo is considered the most powerful user ever. This is thanks to his successful confrontation with the King of Curses and his innovative application of his powers.
Sukuna Was The Greatest Jujutsu User Of All Time
The Strongest
- The fallen one.
Ultimately, most fans agree that Sukuna would win in any hypothetical fight. He’s simply unmatched in power. Only Gojo Satoru has ever demonstrated a similar level of control over cursed energy and his abilities, but even Gojo fell to Sukuna, solidifying Sukuna’s place as the strongest jujutsu sorcerer ever.
Sukuna was an incredibly powerful character, possessing complete control over Jujutsu, several devastating Cursed Techniques, and a deep understanding of Cursed Energy gained through extensive experience. His strong will made him arguably the greatest sorcerer ever. However, he was ultimately defeated because he fought both the strongest sorcerer of the current generation and a united front of all his opponents; without those specific circumstances, he likely would have remained undefeated.
