Heartopia is shaping up to be a truly beloved game, and it quickly gained a lot of attention. If you’re a PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo player wondering if you can play, the good news is there are options for all of you!
It seems like there are already a lot of life simulation games similar to Heartopia. However, XD’s game is showing that people just can’t get enough of building homes and doing everyday tasks – even if those tasks would be better done in real life! But let’s be honest, we’re all gamers, so suggesting anyone ‘go outside’ would be a bit much.
If you have a Heartopia-shaped box on your mind, its console status should be of interest.
Can You Play Heartopia On PlayStation 5?
PS5 players are disappointed to learn that Heartopia won’t be available on PlayStation consoles when it first releases.
Heartopia had a very successful launch on PC, with strong player numbers continuing after the initial release. Interestingly, the game first became available on Google Play and the App Store, where it built a dedicated following before coming to Steam. This existing popularity helped make the Steam release a hit, with tens of thousands of players immediately starting to build homes and create lives within the game.
For now, PlayStation 5 owners must miss out and play the waiting game.
Can You Play Heartopia On Xbox Series X|S?
Heartopia won’t be available on Xbox consoles, which is disappointing news for Xbox Series X|S owners.
Heartopia, the new life-simulation game, isn’t currently available on Xbox or PlayStation. Players on both platforms are disappointed, but hopefully it will be accessible to them in the future.
Can You Play Heartopia On Nintendo Switch or Switch 2?
Owners of both the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2 are also missing out, as the game isn’t available on any Nintendo system.
Per the Heartopia Discord Server, one of its main moderators (sweetkayla_xo) said:
“No – Heartopia isn’t launching on consoles yet.”
We’re not sure how much the officials know about the game. But if they understand how it was made and its potential, that strongly suggests Heartopia will eventually be released on consoles, though the timing remains unknown.
