In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, you’ll often get to choose how your character responds to other people, but most of these choices don’t change the story. However, when you’re nearing the end of the game and trying to become Champion, one of the Elite Four will interview you. You need to answer their questions correctly, or you won’t pass the final assessment!
During the Champion Assessment in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, some of Rika’s ten questions have more than one right answer, though most have only one. Importantly, the correct answer to certain questions depends on your previous choices, so keeping track of what you’ve already said is helpful. Answering incorrectly means you’ll have to restart the entire assessment, making it crucial to know the best responses to Rika’s questions if you want to pass on your first attempt.

The only reward for passing on your first attempt, besides saving time, is a special comment from Rika acknowledging your success and noting that you’re the first person since Nemona to pass it on the first try.
