Like a lot of action gacha games, getting stronger in Arknights Endfield mostly comes down to leveling up your characters’ stats. It’s always satisfying to see those numbers climb! But Endfield handles stats a bit differently than other games I’ve played. Building up an Operator is still pretty simple, but there are a few extra things to keep in mind, especially if you want to really maximize your gear and get the most out of it.
Primary and Secondary Attributes in Endfield
Many gacha games, such as Genshin Impact or Wuthering Waves, focus on character stats like Attack and Critical Hit Rate. However, Endfield is different. In this game, each Operator is defined by four key Attributes.
- Strength affects a character’s Base HP
- Agility increases your Operator’s Physical Resistance
- Intellect influences Arts Resistance
- Will is directly related to Treatment Bonus
In addition to the benefits already mentioned, each Endfield Operator will receive an Attack boost based on their primary and secondary stats. You can identify these stats by checking your Operator in the Character menu. The stat with the yellow background is their primary stat, and the one with the gray background is their secondary stat. The higher these stats are, the greater the Attack bonus will be.
Pay attention to the bonuses that your Operators’ weapons offer. While weapons don’t require specific bonuses, it’s usually best to choose one that complements your Operator’s strengths.
Other Stats
Like many games of this type, Endfield relies on familiar stats to determine your strength. These stats are the main source of your power and are generally easy to understand.
| Critical Rate | Chance to inflict a Critical Hit |
| Critical DMG | Damage inflicted by Critical Hits |
| Arts Intensity | Affects the strength of Physical Statuses and Arts Inflictions |
| Treatment Bonus | Influences the strength of outgoing healing |
| Treatment Received Bonus | Influences the strength of incoming healing |
| Combo Skill Cooldown | Affects how often characters can use Combo Skills |
| Ultimate Gain Efficiency | Boosts the rate at which your Ultimate charges |
| Stagger Efficiency Bonus | Determines how much Stagger you can inflict |
| DMG Bonuses | Increases damage dealt with specific damage types |
| Resistances | Decreases the damage you take from specific damage types |
Your Operator’s stats are affected by the weapons and gear they have equipped. Certain gear sets can greatly improve your character’s abilities, so choose sets that complement how you like to play.
