Battlefield 6 Was The Best-Selling Game Of 2026

In the US, Battlefield 6 was the top-selling video game of 2025. Mat Piscatella from Circana announced this on January 22nd.

Although Battlefield 6 wasn’t the best-selling game in November, it ended up being the top-selling game of the entire year. It achieved this by outselling all other games in just under three months after its release.

NBA 2K26 held onto second place, while Borderlands 4 moved up to third and Monster Hunter: Wilds dropped to fourth. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 completed the top five.

Sports games continue to be incredibly popular in the United States. Titles like Madden NFL 26, EA Sports College Football 26, EA Sports FC 26, MLB: The Show 25, and WWE 2K25 all rank among the top 20 best-selling games. It’s also notable that some games, such as Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto 5, continue to sell well even though they weren’t released in 2025.
