Who Should You Reroll For in Arknights Endfield?

Arknights Endfield started with a good number of playable characters, but some are definitely more powerful than others. Because the resources needed to get new characters (Oroberyls and Origiometry) are limited, some players might want to start a new account to try and get their preferred characters. This guide quickly explains how to do that, and also lists the best characters to look out for during the reroll process.

How to Reroll in Arknights Endfield

If you’re new to gacha games, ‘rerolling’ means restarting the game from the beginning to try and get a better initial set of characters. Players do this to start with the characters they prefer. If you didn’t get the characters you wanted early on, rerolling might be a good option. Keep in mind that this requires creating multiple accounts.

As a new player in Endfield, I was really excited to unlock the Headhunting feature, and it popped up for me around 45 minutes in – though if you speedrun the story and skip everything, you might get it even faster! By then, I had earned enough gacha currency for about two dozen pulls, which was great. Just be aware that you won’t necessarily get the limited-time Operator with every pull, but having that many tickets early on is still awesome!

Here’s a rough idea of how many pulls you’ll have saved up when you’re ready to wish for new characters.

  • Basic Headhunting: 20
  • Chartered Headhunting: 7
  • New Horizons: 10

These values depend on the freebies that are available to you by that time.

Redemption Codes

Redemption codes for Endfield don’t last forever, so many might be expired by the time you create an account. However, we still suggest looking for any active codes to help jumpstart your new account with extra resources.

Should You Reroll in Arknights Endfield?

Whether or not you should reroll really depends on your preference. It can be a long and repetitive process, especially since the game’s introduction takes up to an hour, and you might get tired of it quickly. If you often play games with gacha mechanics, we suggest creating an extra email address specifically for rerolling, just in case you get better results on a new account. You never know when you might get lucky!

Which Characters Should You Roll For?

This list might change as we add more characters to Endfield, but at the start of the game, we recommend trying to get these Operators as soon as possible:

Pull Priority Characters
High Laevatein Gilberta Yvonne Pogranichnik Last Rite Ardelia
Medium Ember Lifeng Avywenna Arclight Xaihi Alesh Snowshine Da Pan
Low Chen Perlica Wulfgard

High Priority

Currently, the most sought-after characters are Laevateinn, Gilberta, and Yvonne, who were available for a limited time in the original Endfield 1.0. These characters won’t be available forever, as new limited-time characters will take their place. Beyond these, Ardelia, Last Rite, and Pogranichnik are considered some of the strongest 6-star characters in Endfield, and we’ll explain why shortly.

  • Ardelia is excellent for applying Corrosion and Physical Susceptibility to many enemies at once
  • Pogranichnik applies Breach and restores SP; perfect for Physical teams
  • Last Rite is the best DPS unit among the five standard banner characters

Medium Priority

These characters are helpful to have, and though they can be quite valuable, they aren’t as urgent to pull for because you’ll likely obtain them naturally as you play the game. Some particularly good choices are:

  • Arclight for her SP restoration and excellent synergy with Electric teams
  • Alesh for SP restoration and synergy with most teams (especially Cryo and the Endministrator)
  • Ember for team-wide shielding and healing for the controlled Operator

Low Priority

While Perlica, Wulfgard, and Chen are perfectly usable characters, the game gives them away for free. Because they aren’t limited-time characters, you can obtain duplicates later on. If you happen to pull these characters early in the game, it might be worth restarting your account to try for better initial results.
