EXCLUSIVE – Assassin’s Creed Shadows Co-Op Mode Is in Development

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the recent announcements from Ubisoft have left me utterly thrilled and slightly overwhelmed! The addition of co-op mode LEAGUE to Assassin’s Creed Shadows is music to my ears. I’ve always cherished the opportunity to team up with friends and embark on epic adventures, and this seems like it could be a game-changer.

In the future after its launch, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is working on a multiplayer mode that allows players to team up with each other.

At Ubisoft, the team is actively working on a new cooperative game mode called LEAGUE for an unspecified release date because the main Assassin’s Creed project has been delayed, causing delays across the entire production line.

Although the particulars of the cooperative gameplay aren’t fully explained yet, it seems likely that characters Naoe and Yasuke will team up in this mode, leveraging their unique fighting skills to defeat opponents together.

Besides Assassin’s Creed Invictus, another multiplayer Assassin’s Creed adventure isn’t just on the horizon for players within the next 18 months; it’s also expected that Assassin’s Creed Invictus, a fully-realized multiplayer experience, will arrive in 2025.

Additionally, among the upcoming Assassin’s Creed titles are a remake of Black Flag, referred to as “Obsidian,” and Codename Hexe, touted as the “darkest Assassin’s Creed game yet.
