Bullish Bitcoin ‘Uptober’ Tweet From NBA Legend Who ‘Talks’ to Satoshi

As a seasoned investor and basketball fan, I find myself intrigued by Scottie Pippen’s latest foray into the world of cryptocurrency. Having witnessed his legendary career with the Chicago Bulls, it’s fascinating to see him now predicting Bitcoin’s price movements based on Satoshi Nakamoto’s “dream visits.

The renowned basketball figure and ex-NBA athlete Scottie Pippen recently opined about the current cryptocurrency market trends, expressing confidence that the anticipated “Uptober” will indeed materialize.

This tweet comes after several Pippen’s X posts, where he claimed that the mysterious Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto “talked to him” in his sleep about BTC‘s future price performance.

Pippen posted a graph indicating that the price of Bitcoin spiked in October, and this surge followed a Bitcoin halving event which occurred in 2016 and 2020 (it was actually 2020 for the most recent one). This year, Bitcoin seems to be making an attempt to break out again in October, despite some factors that might typically discourage growth.

Pippen stated that he is believes that history will repeat itself and remains bullish on Bitcoin. He added: “We’ve been here before. Don’t panic. We’re in Uptober. #Bitcoin.”

On the X platform, Pippen is recognized as an individual who frequently shares humorous posts about supposedly communicating with Satoshi Nakamoto in his dreams. The initial tweet suggesting that Bitcoin would reach $84,650 by November was said to have been a “message” from Satoshi himself.

Over the weekend, the ex-NBA star, currently involved with cryptocurrencies, posted on Twitter that Satoshi appeared in a dream, predicting a bull market starting on Monday, due to the fact that “CZ has been released.

CZ, the cofounder and ex-CEO of the globally renowned cryptocurrency exchange Binance (also known as Changpeng Zhao), has completed a four-month prison sentence for violating U.S. securities regulations and allowing money laundering activities within the U.S. through Binance. He is now free from incarceration.

Due to the levied penalties, Binance consented to pay over $4 billion in fines and Changpeng Zhao (CZ) relinquished his role as CEO. His responsibilities were subsequently assumed by Richard Teng, who has barred CZ from managing Binance permanently.

Although some in the crypto community viewed this factor as positive (bullish), Bitcoin has instead experienced a downturn this week due to the bears. From its peak on Sunday to today, the leading cryptocurrency has dropped nearly 8%, going from $65,890 to $60,740. Earlier today, Bitcoin momentarily touched $61,000 before plummeting again. The bearish feeling stems from recent adverse events in the Middle East that have arisen recently.
