Sales of gaming hardware have generally been down recently, with the Nintendo Switch 2 being a rare success. Issues like tariffs and the overall economic climate have made it harder for people to afford new systems, and many expected significant changes in the future. Rumors even surfaced that the next Xbox might not happen, but Microsoft has refuted those claims. Now, Microsoft has provided some more information to address these concerns.

First launched in 2002 for the GameCube, *Resident Evil 0* tells the story that happens before the original *Resident Evil*. The game features two playable characters – Rebecca Chambers, a law enforcement officer, and Billy Coen, a convict – and players can switch between them. While *Resident Evil 0* has been re-released on the Wii and with updated graphics, Capcom hasn’t officially announced the remake that fans have been hoping for.

ARC Raiders quickly became the most popular game in the ‘Extraction Shooter’ category on Steam during its recent open beta test, called the Server Slam Test. The game’s developer, Embark Studios – also known for the game The Finals – has been diligently working to improve the game based on player feedback and ensure a successful launch.

The remake of Final Fantasy 9 has faced a lot of challenges during its development. Earlier this year, reports suggested the project was struggling and might even be cancelled. Unfortunately, new information has come to light that will likely disappoint fans.

The new Battlefield game comes with plenty to do right away, including a single-player campaign and lots of multiplayer modes. But the real excitement lies in its Portal mode. Originally introduced in Battlefield 2042, Portal has been significantly improved, giving players much more freedom to create and customize their own experiences. Players are already making tons of unique content, even recreating classic moments from past Battlefield games.

Xbox is expanding its reach beyond consoles with its ‘This is an Xbox’ strategy, making its gaming services available on various devices. Following a successful entry into handheld gaming with the ROG Xbox Ally X, Xbox is now partnering with LG to bring gaming experiences to cars.

A major point of discussion about the realistic look of items in the game started when players were unhappy with the Weapon Mastery camouflage skins, called Unstoppable Force, in Battlefield 6. Many felt the skins weren’t visually appealing enough to justify the effort needed to unlock them. Now, a similar complaint is surfacing, with some players ridiculing a new soldier skin as a frustrating and ultimately unrewarding challenge.
