We saw so many great games this year that we couldn’t fit them all in our list! Titles like the clever shooter Ikaruga and the original Pikmin were standouts, but we had to leave some amazing games out. If you missed them when they first came out, you’ve likely heard of their quality and maybe even played them since.
Throughout the last year of the story, one important aspect has been consistently overlooked: Usopp’s development. Because Usopp’s entire character is so closely linked to the island of Elbaf, fans naturally expected a lot from this arc. When Elbaf was announced, many hoped it would give Usopp the chance to grow, as his progress has stalled recently. Fans felt he needed this development to prepare for the challenges coming in the final part of the story. However, so far, the Elbaf arc hasn’t delivered for Usopp, and if this continues, it’s possible his character arc will end without fulfilling its potential.

As a long-time fan, I’ve noticed a lot of big games still coming out on older consoles, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 was a recent example. It makes sense that Activision wants to reach as many players as possible, but even Call of Duty will eventually drop support for those older systems. Now, with WWE 2K26 only releasing on the newest consoles, I know a lot of PS4, Xbox One, and Switch players are going to be upset. But honestly, it’s time. Those last-gen consoles had a great run, but WWE 2K26 needs to move forward if the series wants to keep getting better.

There aren’t a lot of role-playing games (RPGs) based on Marvel characters. While none of these games are as polished or complex as top-tier RPGs like Baldur’s Gate 3 or Persona 5, they’re still enjoyable. With RPGs becoming better overall, we might see a truly excellent Marvel RPG in the future. For now, we’ll rank these games based on how well they play and how robust their RPG systems are.
