At present, the overall value of the crypto market has dropped by 1.94% over the past day, now standing at approximately $2.13 trillion. Additionally, the total trading volume has seen a decrease of 2.91%, reaching $67.22 billion. Bitcoin dropped to around $60K today, while Ethereum, Solana, and Ripple experienced a decrease of 1%-3%. This decline coincides with reduced investment in Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs recently. Additionally, the ongoing fallout from the PlusToken scam has intensified bearish sentiments and price fluctuations. Notably, most altcoins have followed the general market trend. The Bitcoin price graph indicates a drop of almost 2% in value, currently standing at approximately $60,852. The day’s lowest and highest points were marked at $60,314.22 and $62,508.84 respectively. Today’s fluctuations suggest a decrease, with data from Sosovalue revealing outflows of around $44.47 million in Bitcoin ETFs as of October 9 (excluding BITB). Additionally, the dominance of BTC in the market decreased by 0.16% over the last day, currently standing at 56.59%. Today’s market cap for BTC is $1.2 trillion. Despite recent excitement surrounding the HBO documentary about Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto, the coin continues to stabilize rather than show significant growth.
Ethereum Price Today
ETH price illustrated a drop of over 2% in the past 24 hours and is currently trading at $2,395. The coin’s intraday low and high were recorded as $2,350.95 and $2,469.21, respectively. This slumping movement comes against the backdrop of $0 million net flows in Ethereum ETFs as of October 9, excluding ETHW data. Ethereum’s market cap rested at $288.30 billion today. Meanwhile, the Chinese government appears to be preparing for a massive selloff of 7000 ETH recently sent to exchanges, birthing additional concerns among market participants.
