All Warring States Enemy Base Locations in Nioh 3

As a Nioh 3 player, I’ve found these enemy bases are smaller areas overrun by Yokai. When you go in, a counter pops up showing how many enemies are left, which is super helpful! Clearing them out isn’t just about progress; you get some really good rewards, and often find hidden collectibles like Kodamas or even hot springs to recover in!

Warring States in Nioh 3 features 11 enemy bases to discover. Some of these bases are tied to the game’s main story and can only be cleared as part of specific quests.

Follow the road north of the Hojo Shrine, and you will find the first enemy base.

Tenryu River

  • Recommended Level: 6

From the Hojo Shrine, follow the path going southwest to find this base.

Tokaido

  • Recommended Level: 8

Starting at the Cape Cavern Shrine, head through the cave on the left. This path will lead you to the enemy base, and at the very end of the base, you’ll discover a Hot Springs.

Tokaido

  • Recommended Level: 8

Head east of Ikeda Ferry Shrine to find the second enemy base in Tokaido.

Maisaka

  • Recommended Level: 19

Once you reach Maisaka, travel west to find the Maisaka Post Shrine. This location contains an enemy base you’ll need to defeat as part of the Abundant Evil myth.

Lake Sanura

  • Recommended Level: 19

When you arrive at Lake Sanaru, you’ll see a large ship serving as an enemy base. To get onto the ship, follow the path to the left, defeat the enemies there, and then jump across the boats to reach a stack of boxes. You can use these boxes to climb up to the ship’s main deck.

Mikatagahara

  • Recommended Level: 20

Starting at the Otsuri Bridge Shrine, travel north to Mikatagahara. Follow the path until you spot a Scampuss. After following it for a bit, continue north to reach the base.

Hamamatsu Hill

  • Recommended Level: 24

Okay, so I’m starting from the Hachiman Shrine Walk Shrine in Hamamatsu. To get to the enemy base, I need to head generally north, but it’s not a straight shot – I need to take the path that angles a bit to the northeast. Got it!

Hamamatsu Hill

  • Recommended Level: 24

Okay, so I found this enemy base – it’s up northwest of Hamamatsu Hill. Getting there is kinda tricky though. You can only reach it when the ‘Ii’s Memento’ myth is active. You get that myth from Ii Naotora after finishing the questline at Ryotan Temple. It’s a bit of a process, but worth it!

Iinoya

  • Recommended Level: 28

This place is west of Iinoya. The gate by the Great Ginkgo Approach is closed, so you’ll need to head north and go around the west side to find the base’s other entrance.

Futamata Road

  • Recommended Level: 35

If you head northeast from Hamamatsu Hill, you’ll find Futamata Road. The very first shrine along that road is now an enemy base.
