Overwatch Reveals New Twitch Drop Campaign and PlayStation Plus Bundle For Reign of Talon Season 1

To celebrate the relaunch of Overwatch, players can get free in-game goodies! Twitch viewers can earn 10 Loot Boxes, with a chance for two of them to be Legendary. PlayStation Plus members can also claim a free bundle including the Null Sector Orisa skin and five Battle Pass tier skips. It’s a great way to enjoy everything the revamped hero shooter has to offer.

During a presentation on February 4th, Blizzard announced big changes for its Overwatch game. Overwatch 2 was being simplified to just Overwatch, and a new story arc called Reign of Talon was starting with the first season. They also launched five new playable characters all at once. This refreshed version of the game has been incredibly popular, with Overwatch quickly breaking player count records on Steam after Season 1 launched on February 10th.

Free Overwatch Loot Boxes, Tier Skips, and Orisa Skin Via Twitch, PS Plus

Beyond all the new content, Overwatch is currently offering free in-game rewards. Twitch users can snag eight Common and two Legendary Loot Boxes, and PlayStation Plus members can get the Null Sector Orisa skin plus five Battle Pass Tier Skips—all for free from the PlayStation Store.

How To Get Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 1 Twitch Drops

You can get free Loot Boxes by watching any Overwatch streamer on Twitch for a total of 13 hours between now and March 8th. As you watch, you’ll unlock these boxes regularly, and you can add them to your Overwatch game for free – just make sure your Battle.net and Twitch accounts are linked. The time you watch adds up, so you can switch between different streamers over several days and still keep track of your progress.

  • Connect Twitch and Battle.net accounts
  • Watch any Twitch streamers in the Overwatch category from now through March 8, 11:58 PM PT to earn the following rewards:
    • 30 minutes: Loot Box
    • 1 hour: Loot Box
    • 2 hours: Loot Box
    • 3 hours: Loot Box
    • 4 hours: Loot Box
    • 5 hours: Loot Box
    • 6 hours: Loot Box
    • 7 hours: Loot Box
    • 10 hours: Legendary Loot Box
    • 13 hours: Legendary Loot Box
  • Once complete, claim rewards from the Twitch Drops inventory
  • Loot Boxes will automatically appear in Overwatch

Overwatch’s Reign of Talon Season 1: Conquest brought back popular cosmetic items from previous seasons. Players can now earn skins, emotes, highlight intros, and other rewards originally available in Seasons 15 through 20 by opening Loot Boxes.

How To Get Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 1 PS Plus Bundle

This PlayStation Plus bundle is only available to PlayStation Plus members. If you’re eligible and already have an Overwatch account, you can get the bundle for free from the PlayStation Store. The skin and Battle Pass skips will be added to your game automatically. While there’s no official end date, past PlayStation Plus Overwatch bundles have been available for about three months, so you’ll likely have a similar timeframe to claim this one.

  • Have an active PlayStation Plus subscription

  • Claim the Overwatch – Null Sector Orisa Bonus Pack from the store for free
  • Battle Pass Tier Skips and Null Sector Orisa will automatically be credited to the connected Overwatch account

A PlayStation Plus bundle image mistakenly showed 20 Battle Pass Tier Skips when the actual bundle only includes five. The image has since been corrected.

The Null Sector Orisa skin is a popular, limited-time item first released during the 2017 Overwatch Archives event. It’s different from the OR-Unit Mirrorwatch skin added in Overwatch 2 Season 10. This skin turns Orisa into a robotic enemy, similar to those seen in the Invasion PvE missions. While you can buy it in the Hero Gallery for 1,500 Credits, it’s a great bonus if you already unlocked it during a previous event.
