2026 is the 30th Anniversary of Pokemon and Persona, But I’m Prepared to Be Disappointed by 1 of Them

Looking back, it’s amazing to see how huge both the Persona and Pokemon series have become over the last 30 years – they’ve definitely changed a lot since they first came out! I’m really excited for 2026 when they both celebrate their 30th anniversaries, and I’m guessing both Atlus and The Pokemon Company have big plans. But honestly, I’m feeling a lot more confident about what Pokemon will reveal. They’re on the verge of launching their 10th generation of games, which is awesome. A brand new mainline Persona game, though? That still feels pretty far off, even with the anniversary coming up.
