If you rent a ride on Starsand Island, you might receive a notification reminding you to pay after your ride ends. This can be confusing because there isn’t actually an app to use for payment! Don’t worry, it’s just a misleading message, not a missing feature. Here’s how you can easily pay for your ride on Starsand Island.
How To Pay For The Ride Rental In Starsand Island
To pay after the rental ends in Starsand Island, open your phone menu and choose Travel.
Next, navigate through the tabs until you locate the vehicle labeled as “Rental.” This section displays your vehicle usage time and the rental cost in coins.
Collect the required coins, then press Pay Now to pay what you owe the rental company.
Now that you’ve paid for the rental in Starsand Island, you can choose to End Rental or Renew Rental.
Rides In Starsand Island
Starsand Island is quite large, making it slow to get around on foot. Luckily, the game offers ways to speed things up, starting with rental passes you’ll receive early on. As you play and complete Island Life tasks, you can also build Bus Stops to travel even faster.
After completing Pastelle’s initial ranching tasks, you’ll receive a pass to ride one of her animals for free. Later in the game, on Starsand Island, you can obtain a Scooter Rental Pass, letting you rent a scooter without charge.
Instead of continuing to rent vehicles, you can visit Neona’s shop and obtain blueprints to build your own. Be aware that crafting a vehicle requires resources you’ll typically find later in the game, so it will take some effort.
Several rides on Starsand Island have unique abilities. The Hoverboard lets you float upwards to reach high areas, while all the animals can jump, helping you get around difficult landscapes. Boats allow you to travel on water to reach distant islands and the ocean. The motorcycle is different – it can’t jump, but it’s the fastest ride available.
Some bikes and cars can carry a second person, letting you explore town with a friend. However, you’ll need to build a strong relationship with a character before they’ll start following you around.
