With its release just over a week away, Capcom continues to share details about Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth major installment in the long-running Resident Evil series, which has been thrilling players for almost 30 years. This new game promises to deliver the survival horror experience fans expect.
Thirty years after the events that destroyed Raccoon City in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Requiem introduces FBI Analyst Grace Ashcroft. She’s investigating a string of strange murders that seem linked to the death of her mother, Alyssa Ashcroft.
Grace won’t face this frightening new challenge by herself. She’ll be joined by Leon Kennedy, a returning character from the series, who is investigating the deaths of other survivors from Raccoon City. Their investigation will lead them back to the destroyed city itself.
Capcom recently announced the voice actors for their upcoming game, Requiem. Nick Apostolides will reprise his role as Leon, and Angela Sant’Albano will voice the character Grace. The game will include both new faces and returning characters, and this extends to the actors bringing them to life – featuring a mix of newcomers and veterans of the franchise.
The Voices of Resident Evil Requiem
Fans of the Resident Evil series likely know Nick Apostolides – he was the voice and motion capture actor for Leon in both the recent remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4.
Besides appearing in Resident Evil games, Apostolides also provided the voice and motion capture performance for Leon in the 2021 Netflix miniseries Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. This series takes place after the events of Resident Evil 4 and before Resident Evil 5.
I recognized the name Apostolides right away! He’s been in a ton of other games I’ve played. If you don’t know him from the RE series, you might remember him from things like the Dead Space remake from 2023, Call of Duty: Vanguard, or even Life is Strange 2 – he does both the voice acting and the motion capture, which is really cool.
Capcom announced that Nick Apostolides will once again be the voice of Leon, and Angela Sant’Albano will voice the character Grace.
Angela Sant’Albano, a British, American, and Italian actress, is new to the world of Resident Evil and video game voice acting. Requiem marks her very first role in a video game.

Sant’Albano has appeared in numerous movies and TV shows, including the 2016 series Genius, the 2019 film Dumbo, and the HBO series Industry and The Nevers.
For the upcoming game Requiem, Grace Ashcroft will be voiced by one actor and Leon Kennedy by another. However, the character of Grace is visually modeled after Polish model Julia Pratt, while Leon’s appearance is still based on Eduard Badaluta, who previously provided the face model for Leon in the RE2 and RE4 remakes.
