How to Climb the Waterfall in High on Life 2

Okay, so I’m playing High on Life 2, and there’s this main mission where you have to take out James Stevenson, a finance guy. It sends you to this cool, kind of retro-looking world called Prismaria, which is ruled by a Blue Wizard. Getting to the Wizard’s castle isn’t easy – there are a bunch of puzzles you have to figure out. I got really stuck on one where you have to climb a waterfall to keep going! It was pretty challenging, but I finally managed to get past it.

Getting to the top of the waterfall is tricky, and you’ll need to use your Gatlian abilities in clever ways to overcome the various obstacles. This guide will show you exactly how to climb it and continue with the mission.

How to Climb the Waterfall in High on Life 2

To get up the waterfall in Prismeria, you’ll need three items: Sweezy’s Time Bubble, Sheath’s Spike, and Gus’s discs. Start by equipping Sweezy and then position yourself to face the waterfall.

Watch for a red log to fall until it’s at eye level. Once it is, use Sweezy’s Time Bubble on the waterfall to stop the log from moving. Then, jump onto the log and use it as a platform to reach the middle area.

Use Sweezy’s Time Bubble one more time to stop a red log in the air, then use it as a platform to get to the other side. After that, follow the path through the tight corridor and fight the ghouls until you’re back at the waterfall.

Use Equip Sheath’s Spike ability to create a zipline between the two connection points shown in the image. One point is located in the middle of the waterfall, and the other is on the opposite side.

To get across, use Sweezy’s Time Bubble to freeze the area right above the zipline. This will stop the red logs from falling. Then, ride the zipline to the other side. If you don’t freeze the logs, they’ll fall on you and knock you down.

You can use Sweezy’s Time Bubble while using the zipline.

Follow the same steps on the second part of the waterfall, and you’ll make it to the other side without trouble. Then, look up to spot the burning section of the wall.

Get Gus ready and then throw a disc at the firewall. This will make a platform you can climb. Use the grapple to get to the top of the platform, then turn around – you’ll see another firewall right above you.

Toss another of Gus’s discs to make a new platform, then use your grapple to swing to it and climb up the waterfall.

If you fall down while climbing the waterfall and die, you’ll respawn from the previous checkpoint.

Once you reach the top, you’ll have a clear path forward, but first you need to defeat all the ghouls blocking the way to town. After saying goodbye to your guide, Apples, at the gate, you can enter the town and find out where James Stevenson is, as well as get a new gun.
