This leads to some incredibly exciting and entertaining fights in anime and manga, because each character uses their abilities in a different way. But Jujutsu Kaisen has some techniques that are particularly special, so let’s explore those now.
Kirara’s Technique Is Perfect For Defense And Disorienting Enemies
Name: Love Rendezous
At the beginning of the Culling Game arc, Megumi and Yuji were assigned to bring in Kinji Hakari, but it turned out to be a difficult mission. Megumi struggled against Kirara, whose Cursed Technique threw him and Panda into chaos until they understood how it functioned and could overcome her.
Love Rendezvous is Kirara’s Cursed Technique that uses the Southern Cross constellation to control the movement of up to five people or objects. It keeps these targets separated, and can only be overcome if a target moves in a predictable way to reach another. This makes it very effective for disorienting opponents and protecting something by keeping enemies at a distance.
Reggie Star Can Manifest Many Objects From His Receipts
Name: Contractual Re-Creation
I watched as Megumi faced off against Reggie Star, and it was clear Reggie was a seriously tough opponent. He led a group of sorcerers in the Culling Game and was significantly stronger than most of the other participants. Ultimately, though, Megumi managed to defeat him using his Domain Expansion.

Reggie’s ability, Contractual Re-Creation, lets him create almost anything by destroying a contract detailing it – for him, these were receipts. He could transform these receipts into clothing, infuse them with cursed energy, and burn them to manifest whatever was written on them. This could be anything from flying kitchen knives aimed at an opponent to a relaxing spa to restore his energy.
Hazenoki Had Explosive Power With His Cursed Technique
Name: Explosive Flesh
Iori Hazenoki was a sorcerer reborn with an ability that initially seems like a weakness, but actually complements his overall magical skillset. While not a particularly strong technique on its own, it helped him achieve considerable success during the Culling Game.
Hazenoki’s Explosive Flesh ability lets him rip pieces of his own body off and launch them at enemies, creating large explosions on impact. Although it sounds reckless, Hazenoki could quickly heal any damage he took thanks to his skill with Reverse Cursed Technique.
Higuruma’s Tehcnique Was One Of The Most Overpowered
Name: Deadly Sentencing
During the Culling Game, two participants stood out as exceptionally dangerous. One was Hiromi Higuruma, a sorcerer whose Cursed Technique is considered among the most powerful in the entire Jujutsu Kaisen series.
I’ve observed that Higuruma’s Domain Expansion is central to his ability, Deadly Sentencing. When he activates it, the area transforms into a courtroom, and a spirit named Judgeman appears to deliver a verdict on his opponent. This judgement can range from temporarily disabling their cursed technique to, in the most severe cases, instant death. If death is the sentence, a blade called the Sword of Extermination materializes – a single strike from it is enough to kill anyone.
Hakari Has The Most Complicated And Fun Technique
Name: Private Pure Love Train
Even before the third season of Jujutsu Kaisen started airing, fans of the manga were really excited to see Kinji Hakari animated. He’s one of the most popular characters in the series, known for having a uniquely complex Cursed Technique, and he consistently steals the show whenever he appears.
Similar to Higuruma, Hakari’s Cursed Technique truly shines within his Domain Expansion, Idle Death Gamble. This technique essentially turns a battle into a game of pachinko, where Hakari needs to hit a jackpot – a difficult feat with only a 1 in 239 chance. But if he succeeds, Hakari becomes incredibly powerful, gaining near-immortality and an endless supply of Cursed Energy. This allows him to repeatedly use his Domain, making his technique one of the most exciting to watch in Jujutsu Kaisen.
Takaba’s Technique Could Have Made Him Stronger Than Sukuna And Gojo
Name: The Comedian
Fumihiko Takaba was a crucial helper to the heroes both during the Culling Game and the intense battle in Shinjuku. He consistently stood out as the most comical fighter in the series, always winning against his opponents in ridiculous and amusing ways.
It turned out Takaba possessed a unique ability called ‘The Comedian’. Simply put, this Cursed Technique lets him do anything he finds amusing, making it an incredibly powerful skill. He could potentially bypass Gojo’s Infinity or even destroy Sukuna, unknowingly making him the strongest character in Jujutsu Kaisen.
