The Royalty and Legacy expansion for The Sims 4 added a lot of new, detailed features, and it takes time to master them all. Luckily, players don’t have to grind through leveling up skills like Swordsmanship or building prestige and career success – they can use cheats to speed things up.
As a huge Sims 4 fan, I’ve put together a guide to all the best cheats for the Royalty and Legacy packs! It’s got everything you need to quickly boost skills, build up your Dynasty, or just give your Sims a little extra help with some awesome traits. Basically, it’s a cheat-lover’s dream for these packs!
Before you can use any of the cheats in this guide, you need to enable them in The Sims 4. To do this, press Ctrl+Shift+C (or hold all trigger buttons at the same time) and type “testingcheats on”. Once enabled, you can simply type any cheat code into the console and press Enter to activate it.
Royalty and Legacy Career Cheats
The Noble Career was added to The Sims 4 with the Royalty and Legacy expansion pack, and it’s a key part of the game. To access many of the expansion pack’s features, your Sims need to be nobles. These cheats will help you navigate the Noble Career in The Sims 4.
- Join the Noble Career: career.add_career Noble
- Increase Noble Career level by one: careers.promote Noble
- Decreases Noble Career level by one: careers.demote Noble
Once players advance to Level 10 in the Noble Career, they’ll become the ruler of the kingdom. This grants them special benefits, most notably the ability to determine the ranks of other nobles.
Royalty and Legacy Trait Cheats
Noble Traits
Sims with the Noble career have a few special characteristics, but players can easily add these traits to their Sims using the game’s cheat console.

Aspiration Traits
There isn’t a cheat to instantly unlock the Ironclad Reputation trait without finishing the Social Puppeteer aspiration. However, you can use standard aspiration cheats to quickly complete the aspiration’s milestones and earn the trait that way.

Special Traits
Anasi’s Well, located in the Dambele district of Ondarion, offers trials that reward players with a unique ability: quickly changing their alignment. Although anyone can earn this ability, only characters following the Noble Career path can actually use it, so here’s how to unlock it:

Royalty and Legacy Skill Cheats
As a huge fan of The Sims 4, I was so excited when the Royalty and Legacy pack added Swordsmanship! It’s supposed to be a skill all nobles need to learn, but honestly, sometimes I just want to skip the grind. I found a cheat code that lets you max out the Swordsmanship skill really quickly, and I wanted to share it with other players who might be looking for a shortcut.
- stats.set_skill_level Major_Swordsmanship [NUMBER]
Users should replace [NUMBER] with their preferred skill level. For instance, to reach level 10 in Swordsmanship, they would enter: “stats.set_skill_level Major_Swordsmanship 10“.
Royalty and Legacy Dynasty Cheats
In the game, building a strong dynasty is key to gaining respect and leaving a lasting legacy. Sims who want to be well-regarded by other noble families need to focus on both Prestige – how renowned their dynasty is – and Unity, which represents how close its members are. Luckily, players can use cheat codes to help manage these important stats.
As a huge fan of the game, I’ve discovered you can actually tweak a dynasty’s Prestige and Unity! You can do this by using certain cheat codes and just changing the numbers to whatever you want. It’s a really cool way to customize your game experience.

As a big fan, I’ve figured out how to max out Prestige and Unity! Prestige has 10 levels, and your score determines where you are. Unity is simpler, with just three levels. If you want the absolute highest Prestige, you need to change the number in the game to 31100. And for maximum Unity, that number needs to be 130. It’s a pretty cool system once you understand it!

Perk Cheats
As you gain Prestige, you’ll earn Perk Points to unlock Dynasty Perks. While some Perks, like Inheritable Traits, can be unlocked at any level using cheats, others – Success and Social Perks – require you to earn or cheat for more Prestige to get the necessary points. Luckily, if you cheat to reach maximum Prestige in your dynasty, you’ll have about 1,975 Perk Points – enough to activate all 31 Dynasty Perks in The Sims 4.
Here are the cheat codes players can use to get Inheritable Traits, which are normally only available through the Dynasty Perk Point system.

I’ve been playing with dynasties, and it’s so cool how traits get passed down! Basically, if your dynasty has a special trait like Mental Affinity, their kids will start with a weaker version of it. So, my Sim with Mental Affinity had a baby with a little bit of it – what they call Mild Affinity. Then, that Sim grew up and had kids of their own, and they got a stronger version – Moderate Affinity. It keeps going up with each generation until you get the best version, Strong Affinity! Though, if you’re like me and don’t want to wait four generations, you can use cheats to get the max level right away.
