Xbox Game Pass Adds 2024 Game with ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ Reviews

Awesome news for Game Pass subscribers! They just added TCG Card Shop Simulator to the library. That makes 19 new games for February 2026 alone, and a whopping 37 games added to Game Pass so far this year. Definitely getting my money’s worth!

TCG Card Shop Simulator, created by a single developer at OPNeon Games in Malaysia, first became available in early access last September. It quickly gained popularity on Steam, earning over 31,000 “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews and becoming one of the top-rated simulation games of 2024. Today, February 24th, the game has expanded beyond PC, launching on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S after a period of being available only on PC.

Xbox Game Pass Launch Crashes TCG Card Shop Simulator Servers

As we announced before, TCG Card Shop Simulator is now available on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, coinciding with its release on Xbox Game Pass. While Xbox recently announced the game for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and cloud gaming, the Xbox Store also lists it as playable on Xbox One. The game quickly gained a lot of new players through Game Pass, which caused server issues on February 24th. The developers, OPNeon Games, confirmed that the servers were back up and running by 2:44 a.m. Eastern Time.

The game TCG Card Shop Simulator is likely coming to Microsoft’s subscription service and looks set to be a relaxing and enjoyable addition. Players on Steam have been impressed with its cozy, addictive gameplay, praising it for being a low-pressure shop management experience. Many reviewers also appreciate the game’s humor, which playfully pokes fun at the world of trading card games and customer interactions. While PC players can use mods to enhance the game, this feature isn’t currently available on Xbox consoles.

Okay, so Xbox Game Pass is getting two new games before the end of February 2026! I’m especially excited about Dice A Million, a cool deck-building roguelite that drops tomorrow on PC. And good news for Towerborne fans – the full 1.0 version is coming out the day after that! It’s been about ten months since it first launched in Game Preview for Game Pass Ultimate, and this update will also add it to the Premium tier, which is awesome.
