Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo offers a fresh take on the manga, taking place 68 years after the events of the Sukuna Raid. This new story is set in a future where humans encounter aliens from the planet Simuria, who come seeking peaceful coexistence. Even though it’s a short series, Modulo has already captivated readers with compelling new characters – including descendants of familiar faces and entirely original creations. The story also brings back some fan favorites like Yuji Itadori and Mahito, making it a truly engaging experience.
This short series is wrapping up soon. From the beginning, the creator, Gege Akutami, planned for only three volumes, and that’s how it’s turned out. The third and final volume, Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo Volume 3, will be released on May 1st, 2026. By then, the manga will have already concluded its run in Weekly Shonen Jump.
The story of JJK Modulo is nearing its conclusion, with only about two chapters remaining. Everything is coming to a close, and the world within the series is about to undergo a significant shift. Even with the manga finished, Jujutsu Kaisen fans still have a lot of anime to enjoy. The third season is currently airing and is only halfway through. After Season 3 ends around late 2026, a fourth season or some movies are planned to wrap up the main story. And after that, there’s hope that the Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo story will also get an anime adaptation.
